Fantastic! Staff helped me with early check in when I had an earlier than expected arrival. Lovely clean room. Well appointed and had all devices would expect such as kettle, coffee machine and iron. Would highly recommend. It's a bit from the centre so maybe not for tourism

Novotel Firenze Nord has no air-conditioning and they didn’t tell anybody when they’re taking bookings knowing that it hasn’t been working it’s unforgivable it’s the worst case of bad management I’ve ever seen. When I realized it’s not getting cold I asked them to send somebody up to see if there’s anything to be done and they said no the whole thing is broken meaning the entire building ! But for some reason it’s cool down in the dining area and the lobby but not in the rooms. They said they expect it to cool down at night. It’s insane they’re depending on the weather to cool their hotel down. At the moment I have the door open in the hallway and my window open, hoping to get a breeze to blow through.. It’s not safe, but otherwise I m pretty sure I won’t sleep.. The very least they could do is tell you when you are reserving a room instead of letting you come here to be butchered .. They don’t tell you about it they let you discover it on your own after you’ve checked in and had dinner. And not even a fan.. I come here to catch flight back to USA when visiting shipyards in Italy but will need to scratch this nightmare of the list ..

I have enjoyed my stay very much: mostly because of the nice service and the good food (dinner) received in this hotel. Staff have been very kind and helpful to me. The location of the hotel close to the airport was very convenient. The price for the stay was also very competive compaired to a hotel in the city centre of Florence.

Stayed here because we had to catch a flight out of Florence the next day. Air conditioning was ok. Wouldn’t let thermostats down passed 20 degrees. I run hot and so does Italy in the summer. Basic hotel. Don’t try and eat there between 1-6pm, although it says room service from 6am-11pm they did not inform us that there is nothing between 1-6. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel for vacation but as an airport hotel it did its job. There is nothing to walk to around it btw. I guess I felt hungry and warm. For travelers on all kinds of schedules it would have been nice to have some food and beverage options throughout the day but I know Italy doesn’t work that way. My American standards can get the best of me.

Close to airport but the room needs updating

Our stay was two nights. Room 404. Positives: Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Close to the airport - 10 minute cab ride. Comfortable bed. Reasonable weekend rate. Though close to the airport, the room was quiet. Negatives: no one to help with luggage - used a hotel luggage cart to load in and load our out luggage. The room sorely needs redecorating. The floors are scratched. The furniture is damaged - chips and nicks. The bathroom fixtures are worn out - the chrome finish is missing with the underlying brass exposed. To enter the bathtub requires stepping over a 24 inch high tub wall. The room is tired and worn. This hotel was OK for a short stopover on our way home, but would not stay there for an extended period.
