We went for dinner this evening . I am the type who never leaves bad reviews but I want to in this case . The welcome there from the lady at reception was good and warm but the barman made me wait ages when I had to order my food at the bar as they wouldn't do waiter service for ppl sitting outside and we wanted to sit outside. My dressed crab was absolutely the worst seafood dish I've ever had . A tiny flavourless crab covered in hard battered breadcrumbs...zero crab flavour and texture whatsoever. The glass noodle salad was very small and hardly any herbs or spices or flavour to it either . So disappointed for the price I paid . I expected a delicious fresh meaty crab taste and that exquisite crab texture and delicious dressing . But it arrived hard and breadcrumbed . The Pina colada I ordered was mostly ice and had zero flavour to it ...and it was thin and watery . I was so looking forward to a delicious creamy flavourful coconutty Pina colada cocktail with that yummy rum and cream taste and texture ! So disappointing . The island here is astonishing and tropical and beautiful and the architecture and design of Peppers is wonderful and its swimming pool is exquisite. But the food is awful . My friends were also disappointed with theirs - one of them ordered calamari as a main dish and the portion was tiny , and my other friend had dhal which she said had no spices or flavour at all . The waitress was lovely and cheerful though so that's a star for her .

Resort had areas blocked off due to refurbishment but I did not see any works happening. We had to move rooms the first day because the toilet didn't work. Had to send cutterely back at the restaurant as it was covered in the sauce that came with the meal Had to send meal back as it was not cooked to request.....it was Bleu-rare and as ordered should have been Medium.........No we are not picky people

It was my wife's birthday and I wanted to take her somewhere special where we could escape from normal routine and obligations of life. I wanted it to be perfect (or at least very good). So I spoke to the staff at Peppers explaining the situation and they did what they're good at, a few finishing touches to our booking and in our room to make it just different enough that it would improve our stay to be more memorable than any other stay. We ended up having the most enjoyable and relaxing time. It was fantastic. My dear wife loved our stay at Peppers and said, "Sometimes having good experiences are important, not just getting things". Thankyou Peppers, for the 'Perfect gift.'

We were upgraded to a third bedroom apartment, which overlooked the pool. The staff wer eincredibly friendly, the giant pool was stunning, an absolute highlight for our family.
