Our offering expands during this special event; however, we understand that guests seeking a quieter stay may find Race Week offers a little more sailor-fuelled revelry than serenity. While we were pleased to accommodate a late check-out during your visit, we understand your disappointment that a room upgrade was not available. Race Week takes place during a busy peak-season period, and complimentary room upgrades are always subject to availability. When a particular room type is important to your stay, we recommend reserving your preferred category when booking. Don't visit during race week . Your Gold status means nothing as the hotel basically becomes the property of the race week organisers.THe restaurant becomes a bar with a lot of happy sailors and a very loud band. I've contacted the ACCOR people but no response. I did speak to the general manager and he is aware of my displeasure and has offered a compromise but it is very disappointing it had to come to that. I'm told they will let anyone who books that week in future that it is race week so that people know how limited the offering will be if they still want to book. Too late for us unfortunately.

We had an exceptional stay while staying at Peppers. We were upgraded to a 3 bedroom marina view room which was stunning along with the whole property, we were very impressed. All staff were welcoming amd friendly and we really appreciated our complimentary gifts on arrival.

Our experience was quite disappointing. The room was fine, and comfortable, but there was no hotel guide or information in the room about the resort. No room bar, and we had to ask front desk for pool towels, and extra tea, coffee etc on day 2. The restaurant was lacking - menu was very poor with not enough choice, room service non existent, breakfast was ok, but cold on the servery. The bar did not sell bottled water! Lack of pool lounges in the shade, and our nearest pool was also a thoroughfare from outside the resort which meant lots of noise. We were not told about the lift from the parking garage, so carried our heavy suitcases up 3 flights of stairs when we arrived. The location was good, and for the most part, the staff were friendly. I would consider other hotel accommodation on Magnetic Island before Peppers if I visit again.

A resort map and relevant information were included with your arrival envelope and key card, and our Front Office team is always available to assist. Pool towels and additional amenities are available from Reception, while the QR code in your room provides access to our takeaway menu, including drinks. Although you indicated that you would consider alternative accommodation should you return to Magnetic Island, we are nevertheless pleased that you found the room comfortable, enjoyed our location and received friendly service from our team. Had a phone call a day before and spoke to a lady and advise that I need one’s bed with king bed and one with double and she agreed. On arrival it wasn’t done and I rang reception to check and I was told it will be done soon but never got done. Bit disappointing.

Disappointed that the Hot water for A cups Tea never boiling during our stay . Suggest an Electric kettle . Despite numerous request for boiling water - it remained Luke warm yuk!!

My friends and I had 4 lovely nights at Peppers and loved the 2 bedroom apartment with great views of the pool. Breakfast was amazing in the restaurant with great views! Nice coffees too.

We had an amazing time the entire week we stayed at Peppers. The staff are all wonderful and a credit to the brand, the location is superb, our room was gorgeous, the facilities are fantastic, the buffet breakfast is great - I could go on and on! I couldn’t recommend a stay here enough, and have already booked a return visit next year.

The staff were helpful, but the lack of a lift to get our cases to our 3rd floor room was difficult. Our room was grubby in some areas but probably the fact that there isn’t a lift to get the cleaning equipment to the room contributes to that.
