As Bayside was a COVID-19 😷 hotspot I was able to check-in at 12 noon and checkout at 1330 the next day. The reason for staying was that my partner was in St.George Private Hospital overnight,saving me the the long drive back to the Blue Mountains.

All safe but don’t service/clean rooms daily?

Very disappointed that I arrived early but reception advised I could not use wifi until I checked in at 2pm yet public areas hv free wifi. Also rooms are only cleaned every second day. So I was left with a plastic lid from goodness knows what from the previous occupant left on the floor in the centre of my room. However housekeeping advised I could hv a fresh towel but won’t clean the room as they only clean every second day. What happened to the complimentary drink voucher for Accor plus members? My daughter also stayed on 2 separate occasions the week prior and a couple of weeks earlier and received a voucher on one occasion but not the other.

Further, we always do and should be providing your complimentary drink vouchers on check in and you are more than within your entitlements from your Accor Plus membership to ask for the vouchers. Room was very presentable with all that we needed for our stay. Sleep disturbed by the hoons. TV seems to have a problem with it dropping out for a few seconds on a regular cycle. Reported it. It will be so much better when all of the renovations are finished. The lift from B2 to level 1 needs attention eg better label for "floor 1" and signs to direct you to the Novotel reception area.

Tv couldn’t get all channels, wall paper peeling off wall, hooks in the wall with no picture. Shower was horrible and toilet wouldn’t stop running I am part of Accor advantage for what reason? To get upgraded to rooms that are newly renovated? Waste of money

Great hotel in a great location. Secure car parking under hotel and magnificent views of the runway at the airport if you can obtain a room on the northern side. (This view is paramount in our choosing this hotel) Coronavirus has changed the way the hotel's dining room is run and I must say I prefer the method used prior to Coronavirus. Overall it was very good.

I recently stayed at Novotel Brighton Le Sands. It was my third stay in the past year - all during the COVID crisis. I keep returning to this hotel as it offers me everything I need for a break away from my home environment in inner western Sydney - clean, spacious room, balcony with views to the beach and towards the Airport, a great restaurant serving tasty meals, close to the shops and beach plus the convenience of parking which, as an Accor Plus member, is complimentary. The staff are very friendly and nothing is a problem for them. It was pleasing to see that buffet breakfast resumed on my last morning. Covid measures are still in place - you select what you want and a member of staff puts it on your plate. Although not far from the Airport the noise of planes taking off and landing is not significant. I am sure to return to this hotel again and again.

Warning Don’t get 6th floor rooms

I’m very disappointed I was given a very ugly room in level 6, very old and smells like salvo, the receptionist serving me her body language and how she spoke to me was very arrogant. I have to accept the options she’s giving me because she’s very intimidating. Very disappointing day

We take providing the highest quality services and facilities of the upmost important.This incident directly has been reported and recognised by our senior management who are very apologetic about the events that transpired and this has been brought up to the staff member in question to ensure no future occurrence. With regard to your room, we recognise that parts of the hotel are certainly tired and dated - we are working to change this. We are in the midst of a hotel wide refurbishment which i believe you have gotten the chance to experience prior to this occasion, and you are always more than welcome to request that in your reservation when you book directly with the hotel. It is always subject to availability but we do our absolute best to accomodate such requests. In future, should you encounter similar issues, we would encourage you to notify the staff at the time of incidence – as to aid in Management rectifying the matter immediately. Our stay at Brighton was good du to Two workers that I have come across over the past few years. There is a great friendly barman who works well with the guests of the hotel and the Breakfast manager is friendly and very helpful. Even when you can see he is very busy he goes out of his way to help lots of families out. Our room was ok but a bit of a make over would make the experience better

Good location for the beach, cafes and restaurant. Clean rooms, comfy beds. The restaurant is serving buffet and or alacarte depending on capacity of restaurant booking. Delicious food and friendly staff. The swimming pool is huge and beautiful as well as the spa is amazing and we enjoyed every single day. It was a beautiful room that we got that we can see the beautiful view of the ocean in the balcony. It’s great because it was an awesome experience. Will definitely come back.

You can’t go wrong with this place, awesome location, amazing staff, surrounded by some very good restaurants and a beach across the road. The bar on level 3 Is a very cozy place to have a lunchtime drink or a few cocktails at sunset .

A Special Long Weekend for Us

We had a lovely three days at Novotel Sydney Brighton Beach. I used it to take my free day of accommodation making the trip reasonable in cost. The staff were professional, helpful and lovely. My partner's daughter was due to have her baby on day one and staying put us ten minutes from the hospital.. We were able to easily visit every day. The area of the hotel where we stayed was recently renovated and had a useful, spacious lounge room with the bedroom having a small terrace overlooking the pool and the beach. We were fortunate to have lovely weather and had a sunny morning and swim on the beach on the Saturday. We used the bar area near the pool for early evening drinks and casual meals. Sunday night we had a lovely meal at the nearby Meet the Greek Restaurant as well as two lovely, authentic Italian lunches at Bianco's around the corner on the beach. We also made good use of the excellent gym on the Saturday morning. We were only coming from North Sydney but it was a wonderful three days that made a special event all the more special so thank you, Accor and Novotel.

A lot of things were closed due to covid, the indoor pool, the sauna and spa. However I still had lots of fun in the freezing out door pool. Exploring our room and just sitting in the balcony overlooking the pool. The staff were friendly and accomodating.

The balcony suite was sensational.Overlooking the bay made a perfect setting to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Covid still had its effect but things are slowly getting back to normal. A great spot to relax.

Relaxing Getaway

We had one of the Bayview king room & spa. It was Newly renovated rooms. It was so nice, we were surprisingly very impressed we’ve booked again 2 more weekends to come again. The room was luxurious, we’ve always travelled to this hotel for the seafood at the restaurant is so delicious we decided to stay. The room was very spacious also with a magnificent view. Overall we had a wonderful weekend.

Hotel itself is great and looks like newly renovated. But the main experience is their restaurant and the warmth service of their staff. Special mention to Henry and June Cole who made our dining experience very pleasant. Food are great and I will say better than any other Novotel restaurant we've been (sorry Atelier). Definitely will be back again.

Loved the refurbished rooms so spacious clean and comfortable also the view of the Bay was spectacular. Food in the restaurant was delicious we had the seafood tower one night and wow! Breakfast was also very good with a huge variety of food. All staff very helpful and friendly must mention one young girl named Olivia in the restaurant she was such a delight so bubbly and positive and very helpful. The location was a bonus as near restaurants and shops and had a swim in the Bay across the road loved it.

I took my family there for Australia Day , my room was upgraded to water & city view my kids loved it so so much . We had a very nice room 2 seperate rooms , balcony amazing View. The tv were worst part of the stay thier very very old & someone had to come fix them up . Struggled to watch a show on them they were fuzzy . Apart from that amazing stay we got to swim in the pool only 1 swim allowed for the day due to Covid , 90 min swim for that day but receptionist told us 60 mins so we lost time , but the man at the pool let us back in to make up for it thankgod , pls be kind to the pool man he gets overwhelmed ! The beds are so comfortable. Felt like heaven , But after midnight two ladies were in thier balconies on opposite sides screaming out to eachother in thier language so inconsiderate ,they kept waking us up , but apart from that the hotel was beautiful. I’ve been staying at Novotel for the past 20 years this stay was one of my favourites . Our stay was nice relaxing & i am very happy with our overall stay . We also chose early check in so we got more time & got the pool when it was least busy best decision ever ! Thankyou 🤍

We stayed in a pool and beach view room and the view was amazing, pool area was nice with some shady and non shady seating areas, the area itself has everything you need like restaurants cafes shops coles and all walking distance no need 2 drive
