Basic hotel next to the train station

- Super tiny room and bathroom, uncomfortable bed with a rock pillow, you can hardly walk inside the room, A/C doesn’t work, at least you can open open the window - Basic breakfast, not too many choices - Hotel is right next to the train station 30 min easy walk to the Christmas markets and old town - Friendly staff - you can have hot water for tea at the lobby - bring your tea bag

Would stay here again!

Location is right next to the station so very convenient if travelling by train. It's about a 20 minute walk into the CBD but very easy walking. Laundromat only 10 minutes away, at Bergheimer Str. 1 which was great. Hotel good and everything fine. Would stay here again.

The good: it is literally right next to the train station. There is parking for 8 euro. Neither good nor bad: very small rooms. The not so good: The bathroom and towels had a terrible oder. There are no hand towels. You will hear the trains at night. The doors are slammed constantly late at night and early morning. We travel often and I review based on would I return and this one is a no.

STANDARD MODERN HOTEL… with all the usual alien ties. Located next to railway station about 20 mins walk to Old Heidelberg. Nothing particular special but a reasonable stop over. Cafe down the parade of shops if you don’t want the breakfast. Rooms standard for this type of hotel.

We traveled by train so this hotel was perfect, very short walk from the main station, maybe 150 feet. We did not know check in was 3:00 so paid 15€ to check in early taking a lesser room for the same price. IBIS allows early check in / late checkout for a 90€ annual fee. Breakfast was basic so we skipped that. Unfortunately McDonalds next door closed about 4 months earlier. As for lunch, the Thai restaurant (Asia Box) in the main station was very good and there is a grocery store in the station too. Our room on the 1st floor was small but clean with 2 beds. The bathroom was very small but this is the only room we saw. Street noise was minimal. Train, tram and bus lines converge here so you cant beat the location. I suspect they have parking for a fee but because we arrived by train, I am not sure.
