From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a very helpful and cheerful gentleman, who explained that all the river view rooms had gone but he would put us on a higher floor so hopefully could see the skyline.however the room we had only had a view of the other windows in the hotel. Saying this the room was small but very comfortable and had everything you need for a few day stay. The hotel breakfast is great and has a variety of cold and hot food . The area the hotel is in is very easy to get to old town which is a walk along the river or a short tram ride with the stop being just around the corner. Frankfurt is very easy to get around as the tram system is very accessible. If I was to visit again I would definitely stay here again. Clean, tidy and a very safe area .

Teeny tiny bathroom - avoid!

The room has a tiny bathroom. It is so small. You have to leave the bathroom door open to brush your teeth. If you sit on the toilet, you have to do so diagonally cause your legs won’t fit if you sit straight. To get into the bathroom you have to fully open the bathroom door because otherwise you cut off your own path. It’s absolutely hideous.

Since 3 stars means average on Tripadvisor, average is at most what this hotel deserves. Supposed air conditoning of a very warm (though setting said 21 degrees) meant sweating through a summer's night. Thankfully hotel was kind enough to offer a small fan. Sheets had holes in them, towels small and thin. Stay only for convenience. Note you only get replies for 5 star reviews from the hotel :)

Nice place, ruined by noisy doors

On the plus side: Friendly, helpful staff Good buffet breakfast Excellent location However, there are significant minuses: Doors - it is impossible to shut these without slamming The doulbe room was tiny - I cannot imagine what a single room is like. Air conditioning: (1) could not be turned off (2) could not adjust the temperature. This is a problem because of the German blanket which only works when the room is quite cold. Smoke alarm - flashes every 30 seconds - really annoying for insomniacs! Bowls at buffet breakfast are tiny (only complaint here) Overall, I would like to return, but the doors mean being woken up but by late arrivals and early departures. So, unless these are fixed, I will be looking elsewhere.
