Enjoyable stay during a busy Octoberfest

This is a top class Mercure hotel a little out from the city but when you know the transport links its well worth the distance, the number 197 bus stop is a short walk from the hotel which after only 4 stops brings you too the U Ban station from there another 5 stops and you are in the centre of Munich day transport tickets cost €9,00 to use as many times as you want bus,Uban, train. As for the hotel itself it is very modern good size rooms and the staff are very professional and pleasant.

Hotel is very nice and staff are lovley, but the restaurant and bar are close but you can have breakfast- this was not advertised when we booked the hotel details said there was a restaurant and a bar so after a long day out to come back to not being able to have dinner is very disappointing

Good ambiente, good Breakfast pillows and covers are very fluffy and warm. Waittrsses at the breakfast very nuce and the try also ti speak italian. We had also 2 dinners and I appreciate quality of food. Not in the center of Munich but well connected.

Not sure of the parking situation. Check in was painfully slow. There's a decent selection of drinks and snacks in the lobby, and the lobby bar at night is quite good. Breakfast was also quite good. Room was standard European size, seems recently refurbished. Issues: shower was kind of small, no tub. The air conditioning was ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC, god help you if it's hot. Otherwise an overall good hotel.

The staff was very friendly. The biergarten was lovely and open until ten. You could bring your own alcohol or get drinks from the bar. The room was small (slept 3), but served our purpose. AC was very weak.... By American standards, so we were uncomfortable trying to sleep while sweating. The beds were pretty comfy. Not a great location for going into Munich. 15 minutes walk to train station. But parking on street was available for free.
