We sincerely regret that your experience did not meet your expectations, particularly in regard to the availability of our restaurant and bar. We understand how disappointing it can be to arrive expecting these services, and we apologize for the lack of prior communication. While our restaurant and bar may occasionally remain closed depending on occupancy, we are pleased to offer our 24/7 Marketplace, where guests can purchase a variety of hot and cold meals as well as beverages. This alternative is designed to provide flexibility and convenience around the clock, even when our regular dining outlets are not operating. We appreciate your comments regarding the neighborhood and accessibility of dining options and understand how this impacted your overall impression. Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your feedback regarding your recent stay at the Mercure Hotel München Süd Messe. We sincerely regret that your experience did not meet your expectations and apologize for the inconvenience caused. We understand your concerns regarding the location. While our hotel is not directly adjacent to the Messe München, it is approximately 20 minutes away by car or public transport, which is commonly acceptable in the wider Munich area and still considered within the fair vicinity. However, we will ensure that the distance is communicated more transparently on third-party booking platforms. Regarding our restaurant: we regret that it was not available during your stay. Depending on occupancy, the restaurant and bar may remain closed on certain days. Nevertheless, to ensure flexibility, we offer our guests a 24/7 self-service Marketplace, where a selection of hot and cold meals as well as beverages can be purchased at any time. Concerning room cleaning, our hotel follows a sustainability-focused “on request” cleaning policy, which aligns with Accor’s environmental standards. We do understand that guests arriving later in the day may miss the 5:00 p.m. request cut-off. We are currently reviewing this procedure to make it more accommodating. As for the parking fee: we offer secure underground parking at €20 per night, which is comparable to similar facilities in Munich. Unfortunately, public street parking in the area is limited and not operated by the hotel, which we recognize may not always be ideal. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not reflect the standards you expect from a Mercure hotel.
