Unfair Cancellation Experience

Horrible experience. Canceling a room through their service via Booking was extremely frustrating. I strongly do not recommend this company—they treated their client unfairly and offered no proper support.

The location was convenient, about a 10-15 minute drive from the city center, but I had a few issues: 1. The room was extremely cold. Even with the thermostat turned all the way up, it was quite uncomfortable. The receptionists kindly provided an extra duvet when I requested one, but it still remained quite chilly. 2. The WiFi was terrible. It didn’t work on any of my devices, which was very inconvenient and a massive nuisance. 3. After a cold afternoon outside, I wanted to make a cup of tea when I got back to my room, but there was no milk and only two small sachets of sugar. When I asked at reception, they said they either didn’t have any milk or they don’t give it (I can’t remember which). I ended up having to go to a nearby petrol station to buy milk. It’s hard to understand how they can’t provide such a basic amenity. Aside from that, the room was okay, and the hotel looked decent, but I wouldn’t choose to stay there again.

My fully paid in advance room, booked for two days was handed over to other customer without any notice from staff. Can not recommend this one.

My experience at this hotel was disastrous. I chose the hotel because it's an Accor hotel and I bitterly regretted it. I initially made two reservations, one for myself and one for a friend. When my friend arrived, the receptionist (who was quite rude, by the way) informed him that there was no reservation under his name. He had to wait for 6 hours until I arrived. When I arrived, the receptionist (again, quite rude) said there was nothing he could do and that I should make a new reservation. I asked him to do it, and he told me that "it would be too much work for him" and told me to do it online. Since there was nothing else I could do, I did it. They gave me a very cramped, bad room, even though I had reserved a room with a larger bed and even though I am a Gold member with Accor, nothing changed. After all the trouble, they sent me a NO SHOW charge for a reservation that I was told wasn't there, causing me the headache of creating a new one. If you're looking for a quiet place near that location, I recommend the Coredon. I stayed there for one day and regretted choosing the Mercure because it's an Accor hotel. Same price and 10 times better.

Very bad experience Check-in super slow Room uncomfortable Ac not working properly All hotels offer a bottle of water complementary not this one Staff not friendly and not able to provide suggestions The bed was kind of broken
