Wonderful hotel with very helpful staff. We arrived off season for a short vacation stop to Marseille, a place we had never been. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was larger than typical for Europe. We had just come from Paris where things are much smaller. Breakfast had many choices and was well done. The location is in the center of the port with great views of the harbor. It is close to metro and bus line for your convenience. We walked from the train station, all down hill, but maybe a bit long if you are dragging luggage vice backpacks.

Loved it!! Fantastic hotel.

Stayed here for one night just before Christmas in 2025. The location of this hotel is superb, right in the middle of everything. A lot of history as well, with this being the oldest hotel in Marseilles. The metro stop is literally at the doorstep of the hotel, which is only 2 stops from Central (St. Charles), so it's a quick 5 minute train ride. Really convenient. Our rooms were duplex suites, two levels with excellent views of the Port. They had heaps of room in them, plus a nice little outdoor balcony. The bar on level 1 is lovely, again excellent views of the port. In the morning the same area is used for breakfast, which is a 10 out of 10 for choice and quality. There are any number of places to eat within 5 minutes of the hotel, even a Burger King on the ground floor if that's your thing. Even though it was a quick stay, we really enjoyed it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would happily stay again.

Quite small but well-equipped room with a comfortable bed and pillows, modern bathroom, and adequate plugs. Our room was facing the seafront and pier so the views were spectacular (but quiet when the windows were closed). The bar was lovely with friendly barkeep. Great location. Front desk staff were friendly and efficient.

レンタカーで行くとホテル内に駐車場がないため、少し不便を感じますが、公共の乗り物へのアクセスは大変良く、観光がしやすい

The hotel is well located in easy reach of bars, restaurants and shops.It is is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated throughout. All the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Shut out to Julian in the bar who looked after us well! Would stay here again. Well done Grand Hotel!
