Central hotel - good location for Nice Ville train station which takes you to all destinations. Be prepared to walk to the old town and the promenade, but no big deal. Hotel is basic but has all you need for a city break. Roof top bar is nice to sit and watch the world go by. Took trips both up and down the coast to Monaco / Cannes which straightforward enough. Wanted to especially thank and reference Walid on the front desk. His advice and information was helpful and invaluable over the days we stayed and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely stay.

The location is very convenient, there are many restaurants, groceries and shopping places downstairs. Notre Dame Church just at this hotel right side. 5 minutes walk to main train station. The facilities in the room are not like a 4-star hotel. It's only 3 stars

We enjoyed our stay very much. Hotel next to the Basilique and close to main street, perfect for shopping, also only 5mn walk from the train station Thiers which is very practical to move around the Cote D azur. 15mn walk to the beach. The tram is also close by if you want to use it . Hotel itself was really nice, clean and spacious, swimming pool and bar on the rooftop opened late at night, a large quiet garden on first floor , shame it is barely used, could do with a bar/cafe. Priviledge Bedroom was clean and big enough for us 3 with mini bar, a definite plus with this hot weather. Each member of staff we talked was friendly and very helpful. Would definitely come back.

Just back from a 4 night stay at the Mercure Notre Dame. We had executive rooms. Both rooms were modern, very clean, large and comfortable. Nespresso machine, minibar and bathrobes and slippers provided. The beds had 4 pillows and 2 more in the cupboard. The thick curtains made the room very dark at night and it was very quiet despite overlooking a busy main road. Staff were all friendly and professional. Hotel is 2mn walk from Tram line 1 and 7mn from Tram line 2 going directly to the airport in 20mn. It's about 10mn from Place Massena and 15 from Promenade des Anglais. The rooftop bar (Bella Cielo) is fab as is the swimming pool and the ample gardens. Only minor is the breakfast selection could be better. No yogurt pots or bananas. Choice was the same on the 4 mornings we were there too. Lifts are small and a bit shaky. There's a free coffee machine by reception and books/ games available too. All in all we loved our stay and will be back next time we're in Nice!

We stayed here in August as a relaxing break before we immersed ourselves in the guaranteed chaos of visiting the Paris Olympics and it was the perfect stay! We celebrated my fiancé's 30th birthday here and the staff were extremely generous and gracious with a room upgrade which was very much appreciated. Our room was stunning, spacious and the perfect place to relax! The staff were friendly and my favourite part of the hotel was the rooftop bar and pool. The pool and bar areas are both very vibey with a great atmosphere and good food and drinks. We spent the majority of our time in and out of the pool and it was the perfect size for regular dips to cool down from the scorching sun. There are also many shaded areas for those wanting to avoid the sun. The pool is not the only amazing part of this hotel, the location is ideal for visiting bars/restaurants alongside the beach and main square, during the day. There are lots of transportation links close to this hotel, including the metro that can easily get you to/from the airport. The train station is also a close walk away. We checked out early in the morning to catch a flight to Paris, however our flight was cancelled so we ended up making our way back to the train station to catch a train instead. En route we decided to stop into the hotel to see if we could have the breakfast before we got on the train and the staff were extremely helpful and gracious in letting us keep our bags there whilst we enjoyed the delicious breakfast. I have visited Nice many times before and I now plan to make a stay at this hotel my permanent base for each visit. Thank you to all the staff that made this stay so special and a 30th birthday to remember for my fiancé.
