Can't fault it - great stay

We just visited here and can't understand some of the negative reviews. We had a room (918) on the 9th floor and every staff member off staff (especially Anthony who checked us in) was accommodating, friendly, and professional, From the moment we checked in everything was great. There is a retro cool feel to the rooms and it was great to have a fridge and espresso machine! We even used room service for pizza and it was good. Yea, it's up a funny side street, however, it's close to the old town and within a 10 minute or so walk from everything. We would have no qualms about staying here next time we are in Bordeaux. We had a great experience here.

The room was large, but locked any storage space for unpacking. The bed was very comfortable, and the linen was excellent. No amenities were offered such as a shower cap or body lotion or even shampoo. There were no English TV stations except for a business channel. It was raining quite a bit when we were in Bordeaux, but umbrellas were only available for a rental fee of three euros. It is centrally located and just a short walk to the lovely old section of Bordeaux. The staff were friendly and helpful

The hotel is conveniently situated near to the tram and city centre. The room was fine but breakfast is poor. Breakfast in a conference room, seated around circular 6-person tables. No windows and no atmosphere. Felt glum. Not a good way to start the day.

Nice and comfortable rooms, easy to go everywhere riding in the public transportation for ship price but the service in the hotel terrible.

The room size is average. The air conditioning does not work. The room stays at 25 °C, and one evening it rose to 27°C. I asked the front desk to check the air conditioning. They were very nice, but the air conditioning, even when set to 19C, the lowest it went to was 24C. The other was that there is no cold water in the heat. It drips and only works when it is set to hot.
