Comfortable Chain Hotel

Average chain hotel, nothing jumps out as too awful. Staff were always friendly and helpful and the room itself was comfortable and sleek. Only downside was the location of the hotel, as the nearest train station into Amsterdam city central was not open, making getting around Amsterdam quite difficult. But not really the hotel's fault!

Overall the mercure is a great hotel. It's located outside of the city centre but the metro is a ten minute walk and there is a direct line to central. The rooms are modern in design and the shower is hot and powerful. I would say the breakfast is very expensive 25 euros each and although it is nice it isn't worth the cost.

We aim to provide value for our guests with our comprehensive breakfast options, and we're sorry if this did not meet your expectations. Nonetheless, we're pleased that you found our location convenient for accessing the heart of Amsterdam with just a short walk to the metro station leading directly to central areas. A nice hotel in Amsterdam with a great view. The room was quite small but very clean. There was a refrigerator in the room. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was a nice size but no safety bars in the shower. This hotel was not very close to the City Center; had to take a taxi. Breakfast was excellent! Reception staff very friendly and helpful.
