My daughter and grandson stayed here for Euros, lovely big room, brekkie was so good. However my grandson took a seizure at the Fanzone, the staff were amazing allowing us a late check out not charging and honestly taking care of us all. Thank you so much, your employers should be so proud.

Slow service

Last day at this hotel today, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the garden space is lovely, a bit of a walk to town but there are frequent trams, Downside is the bar/restaurant in the evening, not sure if short staffed but the few nights we spent in there were an absolute shambles, slow service, forgetting orders, tables cluttered. Now I know the Euros are on so surely they could have brought in more staff, although the staff who were on were so disorganized it was very poor, letting the hotel down

The front desk staff are extremely kind and helpful. In particular, Maret is very very kind. As a foreigner who comes to Frankfurt for a conference but does not have an adaptor for chargers, Maret lent his own charger to me several times. I really appreciate it. He is such a kind and hard-working staff.

Disappointing Stay

I recently stayed at the Mercure Hotel & Residenz Frankfurt Messe and was thoroughly disappointed with my experience. Upon arrival, I encountered a disorganized front desk with no queuing system and I was skipped even though I was waiting patiently. When I was finally attended to, the receptionist informed me that breakfast was not included and quoted 21 euros per day. I decided to eat breakfast elsewhere during my stay. Several issues arose during my stay. The housekeeping dial on the phone didn't work, and when I needed my coffee station replenished, I was sent back and forth between the reception and the restaurant. The staff were unhelpful, particularly one receptionist who was reluctant to assist me and directed me to the restaurant repeatedly. Given that the IMEX tradeshow was in town, I was shocked by the poor level of service. When checking out, I faced further frustration with the billing process and felt disrespected when the card terminal was taken away from me before I had finished. As a loyalty program member and frequent traveler, I have never been treated so poorly. I will avoid Mercure hotels in the future unless necessary. Disappointing is an understatement.

Booked this Mercure hotel exclusively due to its sauna, in spite of several other, better priced Mercure hotels in Frankfurt. Phoned to have the sauna confirmed the day before. In spite of this, saune “out of order” on arrival. Room was extremely hot, even though radiators were off/cold. Aircon delivered no cooling. Had to” sleep” without bed linen and with open window on New Years eve with surrounding fire work all night. NOT a pleasant sleep experience. Expensive underground parking, where the pay machine did not accept any of my 3 credit cards - reception could not accept payment for parking. Had to go and cash money to get out. Otherwise, it was a nice room and the breakfast was excellent.
