Generally ok , apart from the house keeping staff who I gathered was a housekeeping supervisor/ manager and a general housekeeper employee was really reprimanding the upper management of the hotel , which involved language I won't repeat here all whilst trying to enter my room . It was really unprofessional. Reception staff great , also the friendly maintenance guy who came and helped me with my fire stick .

Genuinely really impressed for what we paid, and I had quite low expectations going in as so many hotels have been a let down for us recently. Yes it’s a bit outdated and could do with a lick of paint and some new carpets, but the service was wonderful, particularly the young girl who helped us at breakfast (2 disabled adults and a young toddler is tough!). She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. And it was dog friendly which was very appreciated (although not needed in the end) - I would stay again if I needed somewhere.

I work on the railway and was stranded in Wolverhampton on Thursday night so was put up in the Novotel along with loads of other passengers off my train. CLINT was an absolute legend, cool, calm and collected, checking everyone in as fast as he could with a huge smile on his face. He is an absolute asset to the Novotel Brand, and a ray of sunshine on what was a cold snowy evening in Wolverhampton. Thankyou Clint! You deserve a whole lot of recognition for all your hard work, still smiling the morning after when his shift should’ve finished at 7 and he was still there at 10. GIVE CLINT A PAYRISE 😊 (or at least a massive bonus!) 😂

I stayed in 109, the bed was comfortable and the 1st floor was nice and quiet. I managed to get some rest which was nice. However, the room was dated and looked tired. The carpet had stains which was not impressive. The fridge was not working, therefore the food I put in the fridge went bad.

A very warm welcome and room was fine for one night. Bar area was very nice and a good choice for breakfast. It’s a little tired in places and could do with a refresh. Not seen wallpaper like it for a long time! My room was right by the road but well Soundproofed and no noise at all
