酒店地段不错,房间整洁并且面积很大,停车费也很便宜,唯一的缺点就i是房间没有冰箱

Dear guest, Thank you very much for your kind words! We are glad that you were satisfied with our spacious room and the convenient location of the hotel. However, we noticed that you mentioned that there was no refrigerator in the room. We understand that this may have caused you inconvenience and we apologize for it. Please understand that although our standard rooms do not have refrigerators, our executive rooms do have a refrigerated minibar. We hope to provide you with more considerate services in the future. Finally, we are also glad that you appreciate our parking fee discount and the cleanliness of the room. Next time you visit, we hope you can also enjoy Kralingse Bos Park or other attractions in the city, which are just a few steps away from the hotel. The entire staff of this hotel needs a training in hospitality. As a guest you always have the feeling that you are bothering them. The breakfast was super stressful, not what you want to start your day. The lady checking your room number even does not answer to your “Good morning” as she is more busy to shout across the room to chase the customers who she thinks have not paid for the breakfast. To be served at the bar, even if the staff clearly sees you, you have to interrupt them in their 15min discussion and you clearly feel that you are not welcomed. The room was furnished with Ibis furniture, not the Novotel standard and, on top of big stains on all of them, there is no desk - not ideal when you stay for business. Lastly, as a Platinum customer, that was the first time that I was not proposed an upgrade, early check-in or late check out - despite them having clearly availability of “executive rooms”. I forgot to mention the cleaning lady, who, despite the do not disturb sign, tries to enter your room 1 hour before check-out time. Awful experience. Never again for me.

If you need a desk book somewhere else

This is a business hotel in a so called brain park next to a university. There is no desk to work on in a standard or superior room. To get a desk you need an "executive" room. This is totally riduclous for a business hotel. If I had known I would never have booked it. So I am telling you so you don't make the same mistake as me. Cheaper hotels have desks --> avoid this Novotel if you need to work in the evenings.

This was a very pleasant experience. The room was big and with comfortable beds, good amenities. Friendly staff everywhere. The breakfast was top notch, awesome variety and quantity of everything. I strongly recommend staying in this hotel!
