An enjoyable stay at Novotel-Schiedam

I booked a 2 night stay at Novotel Rotterdam-Schiedam. I had a good welcome when I arrived at the hotel and it wasn't long before I was in my room. The Superior Double room with sofa was spacious and well equipped. The memory foam bed was hugely comfortable, there was a mini fridge, tea/coffee facilities and everything expected of a hotel in its category. The bathroom was fine with a powerful shower and a selection  of wall mounted soap and gel dispensers. There were plenty of parking spaces in the hotel. I was using public transport and there were a lot of options. Although it took longer I used the direct trams (21, 24) into Centrum from tram stop Schiedam Nieuwland which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. I had an enjoyable stay at the hotel and I would quite happily return.

This was the second time I stayed in the Novotel Schiedam for the following reasons. Clean, spacious room, a lot of parking places (you can see your car from your hotel room). Not far from the metro (Schiedam Nieuwland) and from bus stops. Great breakfast.

Recommend. Love it

This is a great place to stay, the beds are comfy. They have walk in shower and rituals brand in the bathroom. Staff are very nice. Restaurant in the hotel doesnt open on Sundays and is abit expensive. The tram is a 5ish minute walk away to Schiedam town or the train station. There is a grocery store and pharmacy less than a 10 minute walk. Definitely recommend.

Lovely hotel, well run, lovely breakfast and very clean. Rooms were cleaned everyday, but I'm not sure they knew how many of us were staying as I always had to ask for towels, but this very very quickly sorted. Fridge in room was brilliant. Lovely gardens with pool and play equipment for children
