Zeer vriendelijk personeel, ontvangst prima, ik voelde me direkt een gewaardeerde gast. Mooie kamer met balkon en uitzicht op de stad. Parkeren dicht bij het hotel, wifi prima. Restaurant is bijzonder goed en zeer vriendelijke bediening, heerlijk gegeten. Luxe hotel voor een redelijke prijs.

Ik heb een heel nare ervaring over mijn verblijf! Wij voelen ons bestolen! Bij onze eerste avond hebben wij al vastgesteld dat onze kamer (114) vol kakkerlakken zat! Ongelofelijk aangezien wij wel 130€/nacht hebben betaald. Het hotel probeert een zeker cachet uit te stralen maar voldoet VOLLEDIG NIET aan die eisen! Het is vergane glorie en gewoon schandalig dat je zoveel betaald voor een onhygiënische ervaring. Wij hebben dit gemeld aan de balie en daar werd geen gehoor gegeven!! De dame aan de balie werd vuurrood bij het woord "cockroach" maar deed er niets aan! Wij zijn diep teleurgesteld aangezien we al weken uitkeken naar deze vakantie. Wij willen andere hardwerkende mensen behoeden van deze situatie en zullen dan ook op zoveel mogelijk social media kanalen slechte reviews geven met bijhorend foto (bewijzen). Ronduit schandalig hoe jullie op zo een slechte wijze vreselijk veel munt uitslaan!

We deeply regret that your stay with us over the rooftops of the city was disappointing for you. We therefore apologize for all inconvenience caused! Due to the quiet location of our hotel in the middle of nature and right along the edges of the woods, it often happens that even insects come into the room – if the balcony door is open. However, it does not correspond to our philosophy and to our quality standards that your description of the situation at the reception did not lead to a corresponding reaction of the colleagues. The well-being of our friends of the house has always the highest priority for the entire team. Cleanliness in all areas of the house as well; It is an important part of the daily work processes and control functions. All our hotel rooms are thoroughly cleaned daily by our housekeeping team. If the colleagues notice an increased number of insects, this fact will be checked immediately! However, due to the location of our house insects can never be completely avoided. As you have been with us for several days – it would have been great if you just had come again with your remarks to the reception. Surely, a solution for your personal well-being could have been found immediately, such as a room change to another floor. For you as background information: The rooms on the 1st floor are frequently asked by our guests with dogs, because in these rooms they have the opportunity to go straight from the balcony to the outside area for a walk. However, we have noted in your profile for future stays that you will no more get a room on the first floor. Het was voor de zesde keer dat wij op doorreis een heel erg plezierige tussenstop maakten in het Panoramahotel in Freiburg. Ook opnieuw verukkelijk gedineerd “ Chez Eric”. Enig puntje van kritiek is dat vanwege het feit dat er twee grote groepen een bijzondere gelegenheid vierden, de service een haastige indruk maakte en het eten iets minder raffinement had dan de andere keren.

Goede ervaring, werden goed ontvangen na een lange autorit. Een lekker apperetief bij ontvangst en een opfrisdoekje wat heerlijk was. Goede uitleg, en erg vriendelijk personeel. Duidelijk hoe alles werkt . En een prachtig uitzicht vanaf de kamer. Op en top ontspannen.

Dear guest, We are very pleased to read that you enjoyed your stay over the roof tops of the city - especially the courtesy and friendliness of our whole team. It is always a pleasure to receive positive feedback. Furthermore, we thank you for your comment about the price for our abundant breakfast buffet. We allow us to charge € 17,00 per person and day for it. This price includes all hot and cold food and drinks presented on the buffet. Coffee specialties are served directly at the table; they are also included in the price, yet. It is up to you to make your next reservation without breakfast. You have also the possibility to order instead only a coffee with a croissant for example. The ordered food and drinks will be charged after consumption. Het Hotel staat op een prachtige locatie. Vriendelijke personeel. Wellnes + pool is goed. Jammer dat er geen fitness is. restaurant goed, maar wel duur.

De douchecabine is erg krap bemeten (ja, ik heb een normaal postuur..). Het avondeten in het restaurant is erg prijzig. Wifi werkt m.i. niet optimaal. Tot zover de minpunten. De hotelkamer is mooi, het bed is goed en het uitzicht vanaf het balkon fenomenaal.

We are really pleased to read that you especially enjoyed the deisgn of your room, the comfort of your bed as well as the unique view across Freiburg and the surrounding area during your stay. Furthermore we thank you for your different comments. . In both room categories we have bathrooms with bathtub or shower. Generally, the bathrooms with bathtub are more spacious than the bathrooms with shower. For your next visit we have already noted a bathroom with bathtub for you, yet. As part of the renovation of the rooms in 2013 was also considered to enlarge the bathrooms. However, this would have meant the omission of the balconies and terraces of the hotel rooms. So we decided to keep the size of the bathrooms and to redesign instead the exterior of the rooms for the benefit of our friends of the house. In our restaurant "Chez Eric" we serve fish and seafood specialties, different tasting menus and selected dishes. In addition, we offer our brasserie menu with seasonal changing meals for the small appetite and regional delicacies. Highest quality and freshness of all products have highest priority. Free Wifi for our guests is provided in the whole hotel via fiber optic cable. We regret that this connection was not sufficient for you. We hope to welcome you back to our hotel very soon! Het hotel heeft mooie kamers met een balkon en een prachtig uitzicht. Wifi is prima. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam, je voelt je echt een gewaardeerde gast. Het restaurant is echt bijzonder goed. Veel keuze en alles is van top kwalitiet. Ook het ontbijt is prima verzorgd met een ruime keuze aan verse producten. Absoluut de moeite waard om voor om te rijden. Het einge minpuntje is het parkeren, buiten en soms wat verder lopen, minder prettig in de regen. Maar dat is geen reden om niet voor dit hotel te kiezen. Onder de vele Mercure hotels is dit een uitblinker!

We hebben nu voor de zesde keer overnacht en genieten telkens van de gastvrije ontvangst, de faciliteiten, de omgeving, de verukkelijke keuken (nu ook heerlijk lichtvoetig mediterraan) met de voortreffelijke wijnkaart met een keur aan regionale toppers die vakkundig worden toegelicht.

Prima hotel, prijs-kwaliteit niet in balans

We deeply regret that the value for money did not meet your expectations referring to different points (reception, size of your room, temperature of the coffee served for breakfast, service during dinner). We really want to apologize for any inconvenience caused. Be assured that the points mentioned will be discussed internally. All our rooms have a size of 18 square meters. Within the last renovation of the rooms in 2013 we thought about enlarging the rooms. This would have meant the removal of the balconies and terraces of each room. That is why we decided against it.
