The location is good - a few minutes from the tram and the metro. Quiet near the centre - around 20 minutes from the Strasbourg Cathedral. It's again on a walking distance from a few shopping spots including the Galeries Lafayette Strasbourg. The rooms are very modest, quiet clean, warm and quiete. The hotel restourant offers a great view - it's a roof top restaurant where you can enjoy the sunrise while having your breakfast.

Great Location & Staff, But Needs a Quality Update The biggest selling point of this hotel is its fantastic central location, which made navigating the city incredibly easy. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out, which was a major plus. My room was clean and a good size, offering plenty of space, and the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. However, I have to agree with other reviews that the hotel does not feel like a genuine 4-star experience. The overall decor is quite dated—specifically, the wood chip wallpaper made the room feel a bit tired. The quality and style are more akin to a comfortable budget chain like a Travelodge than an upscale brand like a Hilton. Verdict: Book this hotel if location and a good night's sleep are your top priorities. Lower your expectations regarding premium style and finish. The hotel is has a simplistic vibe. Clean rooms and easy to locate. I really enjoyed my stay in the hotel as I felt safe and I highly recommend this hotel. There are also supermarkets and McDonald's within a 10 minutes walk from the hotel, making it very convenient. The only thing that I didn't really enjoy is the lack of air-conditioning in the breakfast area.

The title says it all. Good location, especially if you are arriving/departing by train and/or are planning on day trips. Close to the center too. Staff is kind and welcoming. But the room? Bad. Really bad. Dirty. Dated. Strange bedding. Just not good. Not 4 star quality. Not even 3 star quality. Surprised Accor and Mercure find this acceptable. It tarnishes their brand in my opinion. I have status with Accor and this simply isn’t worth brand loyalty.

My wife and I stayed here two nights. We were checked in by the friendly and very helpful Mary France. Our room was okay but the carpet needs replacement. It was filthy. Water leaked out from the shower area. Bad design. The commode area is awkward. Breakfast was good. Generally, all the staff were friendly. The location was good.
