Fantastic hotel, please take the poor reviews with a pinch of salt. Very comfortable, modern rooms with a small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Large king size bed and sofa, the mattress is a little soft, it might not be to everyone’s taste but I have slept like a log. Great bathroom, hot and powerful shower over a deep bath. Facilities - very good, nice bar and breakfast area. Provisions to purchase at reception, bottle water, crisps etc. Food has been lovely and the welcome was typically German ;) Great transport links into the city, 5 minutes walk from tram stop.

OK for a short business stay.

Adequate is the best description. Check in was OK but very busy. Rooms were OK but no water provided and the plumbing in the bathroom was not ideal - the room had a sewerage smell and housekeeping just used air freshener.... Beds were good but shower pressure was low. Limited amenities. Breakfast was very good and the dinner choice was limited but good quality.

Warning - breakfast closes half an hour before advertised

We’re currently staying with 2 children and asked last night what time breakfast was served until. We were told 10.30 and so came down at 10.00 this morning. After being ignored for around 5 minutes a man came up to us and said we could pay if we wanted but there was no point as we only had 25 minutes to eat. I then went to discuss the matter with reception and they pretty much said sorry we should be able to get food until 10.30 and then it would be cleared away but then we could stay and eat. I said that was my understanding but not what we had been told in the restaurant. They did apologise but did nothing to rectify the issue. I now have 2 very hungry children, one of which is in tears. I worked for Hilton for 10 years on front desk (and my husband also did for 3 years, in the restaurant) and this would not happen there. I only gave Novotel a try because it was closer to where we needed to be but I will go back to Hilton next time. The customer service is much much better and the timings are as advertised. Nobody would be pretty much turned away from the restaurant half an hour before breakfast closed. Rooms are basic but are clean, no irons but there is an ironing room available.

The team in the restaurant was simply trying to inform you of the buffet closing time to avoid any surprises when food is cleared at 10:30, but I understand this message may not have been communicated in the best way, and I apologize for that. I also regret that this situation wasn't handled more proactively at the time. We strive to provide excellent service, and I’m sorry we fell short of your expectations on this occasion. Not comfortable pillows.

Friendly and helpful staff. Large selection of pleasant food for breakfast with juices, coffee etc. Room was a good size, clean. But, we have in room two super soft pillows for each of us. It was impossible to sleep on them because it was really low position for head (almost flat). I took out blankets from the covers, rolled them and used as support for pillows. I guess hotel should have at least one soft pillow and one firm to accommodate different preferences of guests.

Genel olarak iyiydi ancak 14 Haziran akşamı resepsiyonda görevli hanımefendinin agresif tavırları ve yanlış yönlendirmeleri hoş olmadı. Otele 22.30 civarında döndüğümde su almak için lobideki dolaba gittiğimde dolabın kilitli olduğunu gördüm resepsiyondali gri ceketli hanımefendi hesap yaptıklarını otelin barına gitmem gerektiğini söyledi, bara gidip içecek istediğimde kendisi ödeme yapmam gerektiğini söyledi, resepsiyondan farklı bir işletme olduklarını bildirdi. Resepsiyona geri gidip dolabı açmalarını ücretsiz hakkım olan içeceği dolaptan alacağımı söyledim, gri ceketli kişi garip tavırlarla düğmeye basıp dolabı açtı sonrada yine agresif tavırlarlar asansöre binecekken beni yanına çağırdı. Bu tip kişilerin otelinizde çalıştırılmaması veya uyarılması gerekiyor. Hesap yaptığı için keyfi olarak dolabı kitlemesi, bara yaptığı yanlış yönlendirme ve sonrasındaki tavırları hiç hoş değildi.

As you have described it, this is of course not our standard, and even if a shift handover has just taken place and it was therefore not possible to book items for a short time, you as a guest should not feel that you have been treated so badly.
