We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed our central location in the heart of Greenwich and found the hotel conveniently close to the train station and DLR. It’s also good to know that your room was quiet, allowing for a restful stay. We appreciate your comments regarding the room size and the view from Room 229. We are pleased to hear that you appreciated our convenient location near the train station and the river taxi, as well as the vibrant neighbourhood with its many pubs and cafés. We are also glad that your check-in experience was a positive one. However, we are sincerely sorry that the rest of your stay did not meet your expectations. Your comments regarding the drainage smell and the condition of the bathroom are taken very seriously. This is certainly not the standard of comfort and quality that we aim to provide. We apologise that your concerns were not resolved during your stay, and we regret that the resolution offered afterwards did not leave you fully satisfied. Please be assured that we have shared your feedback with our maintenance and housekeeping teams so that the issues you experienced can be addressed promptly. We are committed to improving our facilities and guest experience. I am truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, and I appreciate you highlighting both what worked and what did not during your stay. I am pleased to hear that you found the hotel clean and our team helpful, but I am very sorry that the room design and temperature control left you disappointed. Our rooms feature vinyl flooring because it provides a more hygienic and allergen-friendly environment compared with carpets. However, I understand that it can feel less warm underfoot, and I am sorry this affected your comfort. I would also like to clarify that our rooms are equipped with an air-cooling system rather than traditional air conditioning. This type of system provides gentle temperature regulation but can feel different from a full air-conditioning unit, particularly on warmer or cooler days. I am sorry that this did not provide the level of comfort you expected. Your feedback is important to us, and we are reviewing your comments carefully as part of our ongoing improvements, including room ambience and temperature efficiency. Regarding rates, we aim to offer good value for the area and the season, but I understand why you chose to continue your stay elsewhere. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve, and I hope you might consider giving us another opportunity in the future to provide a better experience. I am pleased to hear that you found your room clean, the beds comfortable, and that you enjoyed our breakfast and central location in Greenwich. I am very sorry to learn that your room and corridor had a musty smell and that the lift did not meet your expectations. Please be assured that your comments have been shared with our maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure these issues are addressed promptly. Due to our location close to the River Thames, a slight musty smell can occasionally occur during periods of heavy rain, but we are continuously working to minimise this. Also note that, as you might have experienced, we are improving the quality of our services with some refurbishment works: the corridor carpet will soon be replaced.
