Would not go there to eat maybe they're regular menu may be good but for groups crap.

We were there on a tour of the Omaha beaches. Who's there for 2 days visiting all six beaches from D-Day The rooms were very nice I got to admit that. They had a group rate for the food we had two dinners there first night we had one chicken wing with noodles a soup and a dessert 40 Euros. And they said that was a group rate we had 25 people with us chicken winghead 2 in of white meat and one drummy. No sauce of any kind on the noodles no bread with the meal oh maybe we did have some bread. Crappy food. The second dinner also cost us 40 euros we had boiled dark meat turkey also with noodles same noodles. It had about a half a tablespoon of sauce in the middle of the noodles and that was it. I do not think our tour director which is a small independent operation and he's been doing this for 30 years the hotel will know who we're talking about. Probably will not have that business anymore had many complaints out of the 25 that was with us most people didn't finish the meal we ate the soup and the dessert which was even crappy Paul.

A pleasant stay on the edge of a beautiful town.

Firstly, it's a Novotel, so if you have stayed in one before you'll have a fairly accurate idea of what you're going to get! The rooms were large and spotlessly clean although only one had a safe and there are no room fridges. Also, the restaurant menu was very limited and seemed to consist mainly of salads during the 3 nights we stayed there. Those minor negatives aside, the staff were great and always willing to assist, the breakfast buffet was very good with hot and cold options and there is ample free parking. All in all an excellent central base for exploring the D Day beaches and Bayeux itself.

Very quiet and clean room. We arrived late due to a train delay and the hotel absolutely welcomed us. Told us where to order dinner from. Room was clean for the three of us. Short walk to town and meeting tour group. We walked to town and ate dinner the second night in beautiful weather.

On the edge of town. 20 minutes walk to town restaurants. You can eat in but the menu was limited and service slow. This is a clean and modern hotel. The rooms are quite small. There were a lack of hooks or hanging space for towels. Only one small lift.

As the title said - we were pleasantly surprised with this hotel :) yes the architecture is a bit harsh but inside was clean and friendly. Room was pretty basic - where was the safe? - but clean and comfortable. The restaurant offers a limited menu but was quite tasty and the staff were helpful. They were also helpful with allergies.
