Very good location.close to train station, close to historic old town. Clean and modern room .good service . A suggest to have a portable water boiler.

Overpriced hotel with small bedrooms and even smaller bathrooms. Very very basic facilities.my room was as the front and as a consequence very noisy due to the tram line despite the window being closed. The cooling system was set at its lowest level but the room was still too hot at night. There are far better and cheaper hotels around just avoid weeks when Parliament is sitting. I would not stay here again.

Strasbourg is a wonderful city to visit.

We picked this hotel for its location, which is good, and for its price, which is O.K. The room we were given was in the annex, which felt a little bit run down. Our bedside lights didn’t work for our stay, despite telling reception that they were not working. The shower in the bathroom was not directly walk-in, there was a small step into it — small gripe, but I currently need a walking stick, so I noticed. Overall the room was clean and the staff were friendly, we went into booking this hotel with our eyes open: it’s a big chain, it’s an Ibis, you get what you pay for. If you do stay here try the Kitch’n bar on the corner of the street (about 1 minute walk — turn left as you exit the hotel), it’s a nice local experience, with views of the river and a buzzy atmosphere.

We stayed here 2 nights the weekend before Christmas, and enjoyed the hotel. The small reception area had 2 people helping guests, and the guy who helped us was very pleasant and helpful. Although I speak French, he spoke English and very well. He was professional and polite, and helped with an issue finding one of our reservations . The room was small but clean, decent bed. The bathroom was tiny with a small shower. It's a budget range hotel so expectations were set as such. The location was great. Easy walk to the main train station, and the tram stop is right in front of the hotel. VERY convenient! The amount we paid for this room was way too much but we think it's because it was during the big Christmas market time. Everything was high, but this is too much for this caliber of hotel. But we paid it and would stay again if we needed a place in this area that was a budget hotel. Breakfast was pretty good! It's included with some rates, not with others, so just check first.

Stayed here for 3 nights in December 2024. Located not far from train station but still a decent walk...close to Old District. Front door of hotel remains locked and requires front desk controlled entry unless you have a room key. Front desk staff pleasant and helpful. Typical Ibis basic hotel with no phone nor room amenities. Bed was fine and room was clean. Storage room for luggage in basement of hotel. Front desk presented us with a Christmas gift at check-in...nice touch! Restaurants and small stores nearby to buy food and drink items.
