I've stayed at a number of Ibis locations across Europe and often appreciate the value of their city-center locations. This was no exception and was in my opinion better than the average Ibis. It's about 10 minutes walk from the Centrale Station and about 15 minutes walk into central Milan, with good access to trams and subway (Porta Venezia and Repubblica). Check-in was efficient and the staff were all very helpful and kind throughout. Breakfast buffet was crowded but very good. Our room was small as we expected but comfortably slept three as described. Overall, a very good quality stay.

This was one of the worst experiences i have had. When we arrived to the room it had clearly not been cleaned properly. There was bits of old food under the bedside table, dust everywhere, hairs in the bathroom on the loo/in shower, long hairs in the bed and bits in the bed. The room was not at all how it was shown on booking.com. It was an expensive stay being over £100 a night and there were no tea/coffee facilities, no water or water glasses, no fridge and no toiletries so i am wondering what i had paid for. The shower panel was even hanging off the shower. When i tried to complain directly through email i had no reply and had to create a complaint through booking.com . I also had no reply to any of my messages via booking.com before and during the stay.

This hotel is just near Milano Centrale, but quite a distance to Duomo although still walkable around 30 minutes flat walk. The hotel is huge,always busy with check in guests. A huge lobby with a lot of chairs. The breakfast room just at the same level with lobby. The staffs are great and work very hard. There are two lifts to serve several hundred rooms but still adequate. The room is standard Ibis in the whole world,but since Covid they don’t provide kettle and cup, just a tiny paper cup. The bathroom is again Ibis style, two towels and small soap. Nothing impressive regarding the view. Nearby is a small Carrefour Express, and tram station just a few steps from hotel. Surrounding the hotel are some restaurants and shops. It is more residential area. Going to Duomo have to walk or take tram that was quite cheap. Coming from Milano Centrale just walk staright from station main entrance until you reach Tunis avenue then turn left. Hotel lobby is at the other side of building. As the room rate is reasonable cheap compared to other hotels around that area. In front of Ibis is NH Milano which was higher class than Ibis. This hotel is recommended for short stay as it is near train station.

This is a very basic and busy Ibis hotel. The building is rather old and with 400 plus rooms the staff are worked off their feet trying their best to accomodate the various wishes of guests. But being a pretty basic hotel (not cheap though) you get a small room, no iron, no refrigerator or any other equipment - paper cups for your drinking water - no wine glasses of coffee cups. It feels like a bit constrictive in the 15 sq metre room, which the bed takes up most of the space. Woeful WIFI at tested speed of .34Mbt up and 0.01Mbt down load makes it impossible to use - and we had to use our 4G instead. Just to top it all off, the ancient tramcars roll under your window from 4 am in the morning until 2 am - the double glazing doesn’t stop much noise. Overall a pretty poor experience. Wont be coming back here.

Stayed here during our vacation in Italy; therefore, here was a place to take a rest after a long day. The stay was just ok. Actually, before our arrival, we tried to contact the hotel for some information and help via emails, but never got reply after many attempts. As a result, not only did we need to modify our plan a bit, but also made us worry before the actual stay. The hotel is around 5-minute walk from Replublica Metro Station and 10-minute walk from Milano Central. It is spacious and offers plenty of rooms. Our room is quite comfortable and clean and beddings is good, but apart from all-in-one hand wash, shower gel and shampoo, no other amenities such as toothbrush, body lotion, slipper provided. None of coffee or tea available in the room neither. Services were mix between good and bad. Front office staff were nice, especially, the guy who checked us in, but some staff at the restaurant seemed to be too busy to smile and care enough about their quality of service. Worth to mention Ms. Mary at Bistro & Bar, who made our stay with her liveliness and friendliness. If travelers look for a place to stay with no plan on spending a ton of time in the hotel, the hotel might be suitable.
