Overpriced, Inadequate, and Rude

I was really disappointed by this hotel. Firstly, there were no hand towels in the bathroom, and no kettle with tea/coffee in the rooms. When I questioned this, I was told they had to differentiate themselves from other grades of hotel within the Accor group, and this three star (!) establishment did not rate either hand towels nor a kettle in the room. Given that they charge €80+ for a single room, and that the Premiere Classe chain, which charges €35-40, does provide hand towels, I thought this was a bit much. When I complained about the fact that one could not make tea in one's room, they informed me that they would be happy to make me a cup of tea if I just asked at the front desk. I did, and they then tried to bill me for this when I eft. Last but not last, the person at the front desk, the one who cam up with all the excuses, called me by first name throughout my stay. Clearly, nobody had ever told him that clients should be addressed as "Madame" or "Monsieur. I was invited to stay in this hotel for a job, but would never choose to stay there myself.

Great hotel, great staff. Very clean very modern. Great value with free parking, rooms are compact but absolutely perfect with all you need. The only hotel in many years to make up our room and clean it for the second night. Friendly receptionist. Easy walk to some quirky bars in the site. Great

We stayed at this hotel at the start and finish of our holiday. We were very pleasantly surprised at the value, condition, and courtesy of the staff. It’s not a 5 star hotel by any means, however the service is definitely up there with the best. I cannot fault anything, and they even accept dogs !! Certainly better than anything in the UK !!!

We stayed overnight on the way to Cherbourg, the bed was comfortable and the shower was better than many. We ate over the road in the evening but thought the continental breakfast was very good indeed. The only reason I didn't give it 5* was the lack of tea making facilities in the room; otherwise very good!

We had a very enjoyable stay at this friendly hotel. The staff were amazing. Very helpful. The Hotel is well maintained , welcoming and clean. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast and restaurant were excellent. Many thanks to the staff for making our stay so good.
