Daytime Booking to break up long distance travelling.

Stayed on a day use booking (10am-5pm), in order to take a break during travelling. excellent service and speedy check in. Comfortable room, good facilities and allowed us to re-energise before moving on.

I was desperate after a bad drive/ traffic congestion . Negatives from my stay: The Available Car park area was poorly lit. Reception was not manned when I walked in. Then when the staff member gave me my key ino WiFi info given and the WiFi with guest in the title isn’t the one to use There is no WiFi signal in room 119 There is Noise from tumble driers in 119 It’s an old fashioned room and bathroom There are few dinner choices and one of them (pie) not available I ordered a medium rare steak. It Was really really bloody and v grisly . At the bar my G&T was served in wine glass and no fresh lemon or lime slice with it. There was a Strong Damp smell in dining room from the vents in the floor ( both times and I sat in different t locations for each meal ) Staff were scruffily presented and too casual in manner. I just didn’t feel it was the standard I would expect of a branded chain hotel at this price point and in that respect it felt was overpriced Good points Handy for my traffic woes Good sized room Excellent breakfast (buffet choice and quality) although scrambled egg on buffet was cold

Good stay, refurbished room, free parking, my room was very quiet I could sleep well. AC well functioning and not noisy at all. Thanks God it is possible to open the window for a bit of fresh air. Typical Novotel breakfast but everything was there and warm. Remember to register your car.

Nice hotel, reasonably priced, located in a lovely area,but it is not in Manchester, it is located in Worsley, which is in the City of Salford, it is advertised as Manchester West,but be prepared for an hours drive into Manchester city centre, especially in the busy traffic times

We do advertise as Novotel Manchester West, as we are on the West side of Greater Manchester, we do also us the city of Salford in our address. We are fantastically located if you drive, right on Junction 13 of the M60. We are also very handy for attractions on the West side of the city, like the Trafford centre, Lancashire cricket club, Manchester United, Salford keys etc.

Booked this hotel in conjunction with a visit to RHS Bridgewater gardens, which is about 10 minutes away and thoroughly worth a visit. Parking is free, but you need to enter your car registration at reception. Lovely, spacious lounge/bar area. Small area with toys for children, which is a nice touch. Garden area with climbing frame/slide. Nice, casual breakfast/dining area. Very good breakfast with a variety of options including cereal, toast, pastries, fresh fruit and cooked items. Staff are all very friendly. Room was plain, but clean and comfortable. The hotel is a short car journey from the Trafford Centre, where parking is free for 5hrs. We caught a bus from here into Manchester (1/2 hr). The hotel is popular for local functions/events, which to me is a sign of its good reputation.

WOW, fantastic comments and 100% score. The RHS Bridgwater is fantastic isn't it. We are so lucky to have it on the doorstep. Really very please that you had a great stay, and I hope that we will see you again sometime.
