We stayed here as we wanted the cheapest hotel possible in close proximity to Co Op Live when we stayed this week for Ice Nine Kills. That sums up this hotel pretty well - a cheap one in convenient proximity to the venue. The rooms are very small, but they have everything you need when all you're going to be doing is crashing there for a few hours after a show. The rooms don't have bathrooms - the shower and sink are next to the bed and the toilet is the size of an airplane toilet (and smells like one too!). I don't want to be rude, but a plus-size person is going to struggle in there!! Also, the mirror lightbulb is a low watt warm bulb rather than a bright bulb, which isn't ideal for those of us doing makeup! The decor needs a bit of a touch-up too. The staff we saw were all nice. Summary - if all you're using it for is to sleep in after seeing a band, it's fine. If you intend to spend any actual time in it, I'd choose another hotel.

Probably get the coop live footfall now like us but wow this is basic for the money. Manchester Centre is b expensive now and the room so basic with no tea, coffee, kettle. Shower and basin in the room. Not worth the high price only ok for a sleep after the gig

The staff was very friendly and the location was excellent as there was a tram and bus stop nearby. The rooms are big and the beds are comfortable. The toilets in our room had a problem and you could smell the sewer water so I don't recommend staying in room *505*. The breakfast is something you would expect from a budget Ibis. Not very heartfelt and varied. Otherwise fine hotel

Room is very basic but clean. Depressingly dark but again no complaints. I had to take a taxi as this is no where near Manchester City centre even for someone with mobility issues. Staff on check in were unfriendly and it seemed like checking me in was an afront to his day. There isn’t a shop other than a local shop with very questionable food for about a walking mile. This place is an utter scam avoid avoid avoid

Perfect for CO OP live event but basic

If you’re attending a gig at CO OP LIVE and just need one night stay I’d say this is a great hotel for that. You can easily walk to the venue and it is a safe walk back following the lit up walk way the marshals guide you to after the gig and you’re walking with many people and is a direct route to the hotel. It’s also directly opposite a tram line and bus stop.. but coming back from a gig I wouldn’t advise trying to use public transport because of how crowded it gets! Quicker to walk. Some people said they’d managed to use Uber straight after coming out and cost them between £4 and £8. Others said it wasn’t so great as they’d been caught in traffic. I took my niece for one night as we were attending a gig and was exactly what we needed. Air con worked well, beds were comfy, TV worked. Check in staff were friendly. No road noise in the room even though we were roadside. We didn’t test the shower as it was lacking privacy… it was in the room with the beds and had a mirror that meant you could sit on the bed and see what was happening in the shower …. Bit weird. The room was a little bit grimey but probably down to age/ wear and tear.. Tea facilities don’t come with the room but you can buy the use of a kettle and instant coffees and teas for fairly cheap… think it was just under £4 . Breakfast was a fair price compared with other places I’ve stayed and had the usual selection of stuff you’d expect. So overall good if you just need one night for a gig at Co op live :) I marked it down for it being very basic and a bit rough around the edges and also for the fact it’s such a basic hotel I think it’s over priced. For a twin room for one night with breakfast it was about £140 .
