Good reasonably priced hotel in a central location

This hotel is a short walk from the main station, although some might find the area between the hotel and the station a bit , dodgy, maybe? The main road is full of discos and nightclubs, and the backroads are a bit scruffy looking. But in the other direction, you’ve got a park and a canal (or is it a moat round the old town?). One reviewer here thought it seemed a bit unsafe at night but I walked back alone (my partner having gone off to the Iron Maiden gig, our main reason to come to Bremen) and I didn’t feel unsafe at all. Another reviewer mentioned the homeless hostel (or ‘mission’) next door. This didn’t seem to us to be a problem. Better the homeless have somewhere to go, I’d have thought. Anyway, so the room had a comfy bed, adequate and rather old fashioned bathroom with a good shower. But no safe, kettle, seating or fridge, but then we don’t always expect these things in an Ibis. Good sound insulation (couldn’t hear the Iron Maiden gig even though it was outdoors). Pleasant bar area for our complimentary drinks. We’d be happy to come again if we ever return to Bremen, and it is a very pleasant city well worth a visit.

Great location to station and centre, friendly staff and nice rooms

Great location just a short walk from the main station and then into the centre. Staff were really nice and friendly and accommodated us checking in early and storing luggage after we checked out. Room was perfectly kept and clean, hotel overall is modern and clean and in a safe area. My only issue is that we arrived aboit an hour before check-in and had to pay €10 to check-in early. I appreciate this is Ibis policy but the room was obviously ready so why not do the right thing by your guests? Other than that no issue at all and would recommend.

Good value for money and friendly staff

I stayed at this hotel, part of the Ibis chain, and it met the expected standards. The room wasn't very large, but it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was decent, with a fair selection. The staff is very kind and helpful. There's a parking area available, but it was full when I arrived, so it's advisable to book it in advance. Still, street parking is possible nearby, and there are two secure parking lots within walking distance. The hotel is located about a 15-minute walk from the city center, which was convenient. Overall, a good value for money – I'd recommend it for a short stay or a city trip.

Small rooms well aged , definitely overpriced, decent location to stay, receptionist was very rude and unhelpful , definitely needs some help with her customer service skills , it took us 40 minutes to check in , the dining area is very small for the amount of people, people were sitting in the reception eating breakfast ,

We chose Ibis because we feel the offer is reliable at a reasonable price, and we weren’t disappointed. Our room was well-equipped, quiet and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, even cheerfully filling our water bottles for us ready for our next rail journey. Thank you!
