Dated, and out of town.

The hotel is on route to the car ferry, with a 30 minute walk into town. The rooms are dated, and in need of an upgrade, and there was a very musky smell in the hotel hallway on my arrival. No shops, or cafes around the hotel. OK for one night stop over. There is a restaurant in the hotel.

With a kind welcome, this place is practical for a night's sleep before heading off. Comfy beds in a quiet area but be ready to accept some hairs from the previous guest, a bit a mould and average food.q

Overnight budget hotel

Very clean , kept cool with the window open all night . Staff helpful and friendly . Very much a budget hotel but ok for one night whilst waiting for the ferry

Carpark was OK with a few spaces with shade in afternoon. No gate however so little security given the location. Reception was good and speedy. Then on to room where the door would not open fully making it difficult to get in with case. On top of that the noise the door made on opening was horrendous. The tired tiny room had no air conditioning, unlike most other Ibis hotels i have stayed in. Did not eat in hotel in evening so cannot comment. Breakfast was fairly typical for an Ibis hotel. There was little soundproofing in the bedroom and flushed toilets at 2.30 am and guests arriving during the night did not allow for a good night's sleep. Will not be back and cancelled a booking for later in the year. Staff were polite and pleasant.

Very shabby in need of redecoration

We have stayed here many times. The staff are friendly enough but the hotel has now reached a point where it is need of some serious redecoration. The sheets were like cardboard and incredibly scratchy. The sound proofing is non existent and a soft close on the doors would help with inconsiderate guests. We will be looking for an alternative in the future.
