Expensive for what it is

Receptionist was great and friendly aomwthibg is quote evaluated by me on general score. room was tiny out of usual Red Ibis across Spain, UK specially in comparison with the price looks so expensive. I when to the restaurant and I order a standard burger that wasn't bad but not lovely for a high a amount in comparison with McDonald's is located 200 meter from the hotel. Really score is better than was plannijg because the receptionist was lovely and friendly.

Disappointing, outdated and poorly maintained.

Unlocked parking lot, although it seems to have had it in the past. Hotel without elevator. Despite arriving with the hotel half empty, I am given a basement room. The shower column was half loose and one light in the room did not work. The door was a bad fit and all the noises from the hallway came in. The room was already paid for months ago by booking as it was a reservation without cancellation, but they charged me in full when I paid for breakfast. I realized by chance in the afternoon and they returned the money, they had not given me an invoice either and I had to ask for it. Not even a simple apology for all of the above. I tried to have a quick dinner and in spite of the dining room being almost empty because it was very early, everything was a problem because they had a group later, although in the end they agreed to serve me at some high tables, nobody was taking notes, the dining room was still half empty. The table was greasy and no one was serving me, so I decided to go somewhere else. In the morning I saw that this was where they put everything for breakfast and it was clear that the cleanliness was not very good. The breakfast, although varied, was not up to the standard of other Ibis I have stayed at. The mattresses have also changed and are now simple mats with a very uncomfortable protector under the sheet. The gel has also been rebranded, it smells terrible. I have known IBIS for many years, but this one as well as others like the one in Carcassone or Creil, are not up to what the chain was years ago. Bad experience, I will consider not going back to any IBIS, there is a big difference depending on the establishment.

First time stay in Senlis and proved to be an interesting town well worth the visit with conveniently situated hotel, easy to find and park. Maybe details of bus or taxi service to town would be useful.

Was an ideal place for an overnight stay ,staff welcoming and efficient. The whole place spotlessly clean&conformed to Covid regulations-the room & bed comfortable ,shower very good. We went to explore Senlis in the afternoon -most of the bars and restaurants were closed until the evening.As we had been up & travelling since 5.00 a.m. we wanted to eat and have an early night so ate at the Ibis. Meal was fine with good service,breakfast satisfactory also. Thank you also to the pleasant barman who was very patient with our limited French.

This Ibis Hotel should not be called an Ibis Hotel

Paid for a room with Wifi. Room was ice cold and Wifi not working. Asked for another room, the reception claimed they were fully booked and could not help. But the booking.com was able to 'find' multiple 'free' rooms. Reality was that reception lied to get rid of the guest! Second lie came later when they told that the gate was closed during the night for security reasons. Only, at 4 AM, the gate was fully open and the parking area was not secured. In general, the complete hotel staff is rude and does not give a 'sh**' weather the customer is happy or not ! Also the quality of breakfast went down and is not worth it's price. It is obvious that the hotel is dying slowly and is degenerating to poor-value hotel levels. Some customers do not wear masks and staff do not react on this! Adequate management and firing of thec current staff is needed to restart this place ! In the mean time : spend a bit more $ and try the nearby Campanile or Best Western ! AVOID THIS PLACE !

I must respectfully disagree when it comes to the breakfast quality : we did our best to improve our breakfast buffet those last few months and offer the best products to our guests. We acknowledge we can do even better so we stay open to new ideas to please as many people as possible. It seems obvious we couldn't satisfy your expectations ; we would be very grateful if you were willing to give propositions/explain why you think the quality went down. Same thing about the staff being rude and not caring about your comfort. There must have been a misuderstanding, the reception manager is available at the following email adress : h0709-dm@accor.com. We would love to know when you came as well as your full name, it would be easier for us to understand your comment. We didn't have any problem with our heating system this year for example, but the gate is indeed supposed to stay closed at night, the receptionist didn't lie ; a problem must have occured.
