Très déçue!

Bitterly disappointed to check in only to be told that the restaurant is closed. While booking the web information led us to believe that the restaurant would be open. On this basis we made the booking. If we had known that the restaurant was going to be closed we would not have booked this hotel and would have chosen something else! On re-checking we found different information on different pages of the hotel description! One place says that it is open EVERY day. Another says closed Sunday and Monday. A third says closed on Fridays and Saturdays! We'd been driving 10 hours and just wanted to check in and relax over a nice dinner... not go walking or driving somewhere to find food. The availability of a restaurant is the main reason we booked this hotel.. since it was not available, this is reflected in the low score. Furthermore, during booking I was offered the choice of booking a two-course dinner on the night of our stay... if I had chosen to do so, I wonder what would have happened to the extra 36 euros, given that the restaurant (and obviously the kitchen) was closed!! Otherwise, it was clean and the room and the bed, comfortable... but for all the reasons above, I doubt that we will be staying here again.

Driving south

An excellent hotel to stay in if you are driving south or visiting beautiful Chartres. Clean, comfortable and friendly. Good food, especially breakfast.

A really scruffy little hotel. Aside from the fact it could use a refurb, it could actually just use a good clean! There were splash stains all over the doors and walls, and the shower tray was yellowing. If the shower hit the screen it leaked through all over the bathroom floor. We also weren't given a hand towel, just bath towels, which isn't a big deal but you usually do also get hand towels. We were glad we were only there for one night. Parking is plentiful and free and the hotel is situated in the middle of a residential area, so it's fairly quiet.

Cozy place for couples. Clean room and friendly place. Front desk always open and available. Easy access and quiet neighborhood . Parking 🅿️ place well maintained and organized (highly recommended for visits). Nearby shopping mall and restaurant

A poor, grubby apology for a hotel...the room smelled of stale bodies and sweat. No restaurant. No bar. No friendly staff. "Sorry, I don't have the codes for the till to give you a drink." Come on, guys. Just a teeny-tiny of hospitality, please. Someone at Accor Hotels needs to get a grip: you could start by giving the illuminated logo over the entrance a wipe. We weren't expecting 5 Stars. But really? From a so-called global brand. Embarrassing. No-one at Ibis Chartres Ouest Luce cares and it shows.
