Dear AMGJ, We are sorry to hear that you think this way about the rules and regulations. We specifically mention the flex option if you are unsure which date you want to book. If not ticked then we reserve the room and some time before we fix the room up, so then we count on you to come to the hotel. We sent a confirmation mail to remind and check all information. Other guests can be sent away with the message that we do not have any rooms available due to the reservation.
