The people who work here are so rude , they have a really bad attitude and the service for food is shocking , if I wasn’t here for work I wouldn’t of stayed here at all I don’t know how it’s a 4 star

Far from the city and transit - you need a car to stay here

The hotel is far from the city. You need a car to get around. If you take the bus, the closest bus stop is almost 2 km (over a mile) away, and the buses are not scheduled regularly. As other reviewers note, the hotel can face an upgrade. It is not modern. I can understand that Novotel may not want to invest further, because of the location. Better to open in a new location in the city. One benefit is that the parking is free. I only found out after I checked in. I sent an email earlier to ask about parking, but they did not reply. The breakfast was better than I expected. The hotel staff was friendly, especially the person who managed the breakfast, dining room and bar. He was very helpful.

Very Bad Experience worst hotel in Town

I stayed in this hotel with my family for a night thought would be the good option 4* hotel in Antwerp. But when i reached in hotel room it's doesn't look like 4* hotel from no where very old fashioned and nasty room alot things was broken door need to be paint entrance light doesn't work bed sheet was old and stained on them. Bed Mattress and baby bed matters was worst in there last moment bed was sounds alot shower gel was empty carpet was stinking like dead animal. Our stay was trauma staff was cooperative try best to calm us down but they know there product so can't lie with us but not there fault. Management need to take serious action and make some decisions to start renovation in hotel. Spoke to GM wasn't cooperative at all was offended don't like that attitude being general manager he's should learn customer service from reception staff atleast more training need. Being Hotel Manager knows things better how you behave won't suggest this property to any tourist at all if they want toxic free stay...!!

Stayed here just for one night. What impressed me was that the night receptionist was VERY friendly. He understood the fact that the receptionist is the ambassador of thr hotel! He let feel you home as soon as you enter the hotel. Also the other staff in the morning, receptionist and breakfast staff were really warm and friendly! Novotel her in Antwerpen Noord, near the industrial harbour is not really the "wow" factor hotel, but the rooms were comfy, so I had a good sleep. Amenities in the room are limited, but I guess you can request at the lobby if you are in need of anything. I needed needle and thread to sew something, and got it with a smile at the reception. Breakfast was nice set up, enough delicious choices! And in summer time you can take a dive in their open air swimming pool.

No restaurant or bar on a Sunday

We have stayed in many Novotels before and have found that standards in each hotel are not similar.This Novotel is on an industrial park and without a car your are isolated.The rooms are ok however, the cleaning needs to be more thorough.Toothpaste marks all over the wall by the sink in both rooms.Mirrors on the bathroom doors dirty.No proper mattress protector just a sheet that did not fully cover the mattress then another sheet that didn’t fit well placed loosely on top.In addition,having the cleaner knock on the door at 8am is a first!No restaurant or bar on a Sunday is also a first for us.We we’re shocked and surprised as it is so inhospitable . Only positives are the pool and the staff are friendly.However, it was shocking to note that only member of staff was on duty in the whole hotel.She was very helpful but this Novotel is definitely cutting corners.
