Lovely staff but hotel needs some TLC

We stayed here as a stop over on the way to an event at Le Chateau de La Motte Husson. It was a great location for us and easy to find just off of the main road. I had pre booked an electric charging point, on arrival only one electric point was working and was already in use, the hotel staff were really helpful and the other car driver even more so as he was able to switch his car to the normal plug so I could use the type 2 charger. One of the rooms had no aircon working and it was so hot! Rooms were basic but functional. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel but walked across the road to an amazing bakery!

The hotel is situated in a typical Ibis location on the edge of town which suits a traveller like me.Breakfast and dinner were both very good with both being buffets. The best aspect of the hotel though was the staff who were all very helpful and to be commended. Rooms were typically Ibis and comfortable. Barry

Our selection of this hotel on the way "home", Vendee, proved more than adequate. Checking in was done very efficiently & friendly Room was very comfortable and clearly well serviced and clean as was the bathroom. Located convenient for both the ring road and city center. We did not dine in, but the menu selections looked good, if perhaps somewhat pricey. Breakfast was buffet style with a good choice of items. Would highly recommend.

Hotel was adequate - just a shame we were not told on booking that the restaurant was closed both Saturday and Sunday night - we would probably have booked elsewhere if we had been forewarned. Reasonable local restaurant. Very quiet location so we slept well.

We stayed at Le Relais D'Amor on our way up to northern France. Staff were efficient in finding our booking - very quick and so the welcome felt a little rushed. Comfortable room. Our stay was at the weekend and we did not know that the restaurant on site is closed at the weekend - however there are two eating places within short walking distance. The hotel is very easy to find off the autoroute - one of the attractions for us. The bed was comfortable but I found it sticky due to waterproofing I think on the mattress, in spite of the lovely cotton sheets. Shower was good and hairdryer and liquid soap/shampoo freely available. Good breakfast - as much as you can eat and fruit for the journey if you wish to take some. Plenty of parking
