Today was our 30. Anniversary, unfortunately no recognition. It was mentioned before. Very poor service, specially the French Lady at the restaurant didn’t like to speak in English and she told that to us in person.

Room smells of vomit or dirty shoes!

The room reeked of vomit or dirty shoes. At checkout, the receptionist attempted to charge me 100 CHF for breakfast, which was already included in the price! Naturally, I declined to pay the extra charge!

I've stayed at Novotel Lausanne Bussigny multiple times over the last 30 years, usually with my wife, or family and friends as we pass through Switzerland on our travels. It's always been a dependable, clean hotel with genuinely friendly staff—a rare consistency that I've appreciated. One of the highlights for me has always been the open, serene views of the Swiss Alps from the garden, terrace, and dining halls. Sadly, that’s now a thing of the past. A new development has completely blocked that view, and with it, much of the charm that made this spot so special. What’s more, the hotel has become incredibly busy—mostly due to the numerous Tesla Superchargers now installed. While I support EV infrastructure, it’s clear the hotel’s parking lot wasn’t designed for this kind of traffic. Parking is now a headache, and it's incredibly frustrating to see petrol cars occupying EV charge spots with zero enforcement in place. Nothing irritates more than that kind of inconsiderate behavior going unchecked. On top of that, the hotel now hosts commercial events that are far too large for the space. These gatherings take over the entire atmosphere, making it feel less like a relaxing stopover and more like you’ve wandered into a conference center by accident. Still, the staff remain friendly and the rooms are clean—but it’s clear that Novotel Lausanne Bussigny is prioritizing business over balance now. A real shame for those of us who used to come here for a quiet, scenic break.

Great Location

Compared to other Novotels I've stayed at, this one fell slightly short in service level and amenities, with no recognition for Platinum members. I'm unlikely to stay here again, but I must admit that the cleanliness and friendliness of most front desk staff, particularly one who went "above & beyond" to assist me at 1.30am (Sorry I couldn't remember his name)

Very nice for families

Very nice hotel. Spacious room with double bed ( very very comfortable) and they also open the sofa bed since we were 2 adults and two children. The sofa bed was comfortable and big enough for two adults. Bathtub in the bathroom. Kettle with tea and coffee. Small fridge At the entrance there is a fountain water with still water and sparkling,. We paid for the breakfast and it was worth, big variety and very good
