Novotel Thalassa Le Touquet 4성

Second visit. Last one was in 2019, before the refurbishment. This is a lovely hotel in a stunning setting but totally let down by a noisy car park at all hours and into the night with engines a guests speaking very loudly. The air con which did not work / keep room chilled. For the price I’d expect more.

Went for a week in July with my parents who have difficulty walking. The hotel staff were very good with them and accommodated their needs. The food for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner was absolutely delicious. Overall a fantastic time was had.

Superb venue, super friendly and efficient staff, especially at the bar. The view and location are superb, the pool is great, the beach was still warm. Pet friendly except in the restaurant. Perfect getaway location.

This is an expensive hotel on the beach of a fairly exclusive resort. We booked a room with a balcony and a sea view. It should have been lovely despite the expected variable weather. The beach is gorgeous. However, the room had a strange foisted smell, the "power" shower was anything but, there were no glasses for the complentary bottle of non-alcoholic fizz.and the mini bar consisted of a bottle of water and a can of coke. The restaurant was apparently full for our entire six night stay. We weren't offered half board so had to go out as the room service menu was dreadful. What a shame. We had been so looking forward to returning to this hotel and Le Touquet but at that price and level of service, we will not be going back.

Today arrived at the hotel but not started well. Room has air conditioning not working. Called reception 30 minutes ago but not seen to yet. Will keep you informed. Very hot and bothered. Remains to be seen if it will be sorted.
