We had a reservation August 9-10. We are coming from the Netherlands, so we submitted a request on April 4, 2024 to check in between 10:00 PM and 11:00 PM. This request has been accepted. We did not receive any information about check-in, so we assumed that someone would be there. We arrived at 10:50 PM and you guessed it, no one was there. Upon entering there was a hall to the reception. There was a code lock next to the door. We entered our booking number here, but this did not work. Then another guest came and let us in. When we got to reception we looked around but couldn't find anyone. It turned out that the reception was only available until 4:00 PM. We called the phone number, but couldn't reach anyone. We then called Booking.com. They also had no contact with the hotel and could not do anything for us. This means that after a 6-hour drive we had no place to sleep, so we had to look for another hotel. Everything was fully booked or cost at least €300 for 1 night. We literally had to “sleep” in the car. The next morning we had contact with the hotel. There is a machine in the hall in front of the reception. You can check in via that machine with your booking code. However, we did not see this machine because we were let in by another guest. We have barely been in the hall. The hotel believes that we should have known this because the reception opening hours are clearly stated. However, they did not send us any information about checking in via the device. We travel regularly and have often experienced that a reception is not available, but we have never experienced such bad communication. When we had contact with the hotel via Booking.com, they only responds in French, while we are tourists and do not speak French. I find this extremely rude. This already says enough about the hospitality. They do not want to think along with us in any way. They react very sullenly. I wouldn't even want to sleep here if it was free, what a terrible customer service.

Great for overnight stay.

Me and my family went on a trip to france before my daughter in year 8 would've went and they constantly knocked on the hotel door saying that we were getting complaints from other people because i am "scaring them" just because im black.They refused to serve me anything as they kept on saying "we dont serve fried chicken" in a broken english accent.There was also skid marks in the toilet of my hotel room!!!All together racially motivated service.

Sat-nav got it right, yes it is in an industrial estate. Some private parking available at hotel, a little dedicated. Staff function. The Bedroom was small and the window opened inwards. The comfortable 5' bed had a bunk bed installed over the head end which adds to the claustraphobic feel. Three in that space, are you kidding! The bathroom was of adequate size, the shower controls were simple and worked, the bottom head bracket in Room No. 126 was broken.

We have stayed here several times and it fits the bill well for an overnight stop quite close to Eurotunnel. Rooms are clean and as expected: shower and toilet separate. Plenty of parking. This time we were surprised that an amount (more than the room rate) was taken from our card before arrival. We were then required to pay for the room separately on arrival, and the "deposit" was not refunded until the day after our departure. The hotel has only a very small outdoor space (immediately outside the entry door), which was clearly dedicated to smokers: not pleasant.
