The hotel is perfectly placed and has beautiful views of the cathedral .It is literally across the road from the old town. We had interconnected family rooms on the 2nd floor.The rooms are compact as are the bathrooms.Everything is spotlessly clean.The breakfast is great.This was a perfect stop over for 1 night for the Eurotunnel.It represents good value for money.All staff friendly and pleasant.Parking is 10 euros and is a bit on the tight side.However,very secure.Overall very happy with the experience.

Very handy for the old town, well situated for some nice bars and restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful. Small cozy bar area for evenings and where breakfast is served. Rooms are very compact, particularly the bathrooms. Lift to all floors. Parking is fairly easy in surrounding streets and opposite. Breakfast was lovely, lots to choose from, very fresh and freshly squeezed orange juice. If the rooms had been a little bigger, would have scored more (bathroom is a real squeeze!) but can recommend due to its position, easy parking and location.

After reading some of the reviews of this hotel I was a little sceptical about booking, but never the less I went ahead with a booking for my family (2 adults + 2 children) with two adjoining rooms and was very satisfied with the whole experience. The hotel is conveniently located near the cathedral with good access to the A16 and plenty of parking either in the hotels own car park or on street parking which includes several pay as go charging points which are very useful for electric car drivers. The check in process was quick and easy with a gentleman called Cyrille who was friendly, polite and made us feel very welcome. The adjoining rooms were clean, comfortable and although not the largest had plenty of storage space. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept very well. There was free wi-fi throughout the hotel which when traveling with a 5 year old and an 8 year old is essential! and it worked all the time. In the evening when we retuned to the hotel we sat in the bar and outside area and enjoyed some drinks. again Cyrille was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The buffet breakfast had a good choice and the food was fresh and well presented. The two ladies on duty were again very polite and helpful. If you are visiting Boulogne on a short break or for business I would highly recommend this hotel which I felt offered good value for money whilst not compromising on comfort or quality.

This is a great little hotel. It is close to the historic town centre, the staff are very welcoming, it charges reasonable prices, and offers good food. There is also bike storage, and good rooms (if a bit on the smaller side). I'd happily stay here again.

Close to the old city but that is its only plus point. Staff were not unpleasant, but that is the best that can be said. Ibis as a franchise has lost control of its member hotels. In future will find alternatives.
