Nice room but a let down in too many ways.

My third stay at this hotel for business and unfortunately not great. I had a room upgrade for being Accor gold which was appreciated and the room itself was very modern and clean. The breakfast was great. The good news ends there. The bar staff seemed unusually angry and dismissive. The internet was down for the entire week stay, no form of apology or compensation offered. This is a major issue for someone on a business trip. My toilet broke, just kept running. The elevator broke down multiple times and trapped my colleague. The “gym” is not a gym at all with broken, unusable machines. They should have spent less time setting up bizarre Christmas scenes and more time fixing the internet. I’ll try somewhere else next time.

This hotel was very lovely great location. Staffs could be more welcoming especially at check in and being more helpful rather having faces u don’t feel comfortable to ask anything. They also should provide shuttles to Disneyland Paris I’d say that’s their biggest downfall. Rooms were small but they had good facilities in it like fridge, kettle etc Lovely to have swimming pool as option in summer :)

The point of this hotel, for me, is a stopover before an early check in next day at a Disney hotel. As you get included park tickets on arrival day in the Disney deal there is no point travelling from England and checking in about 6pm, you need to get there before 9am really to make use of them, and this Novotel makes that possible, it's a very short trip. Other than that there is nothing remarkable about it. Don't expect any fuss or welcome, customer service levels are minimal but the hotel is clean. Parking is easy, I have learned to avoid their breakfast and there wasn't time anyway. There's a pool open until 8pm but it's not much fun. My daughter used the gym and said that was good. I like the Nespresso machine but you only get two pods for the whole room, and the creamer is microscopic, so take some long life milk and extra pods. Lastly, make sure to set the sat nav for Collegien, not just Marne La Vallee, else you might end up at a different Novotel 20 minutes away like we did.

The hotel looks new, the rooms are comfortable, as you would expect from a Novotel. There is plenty of things to do for the kids outside : pool, playground, football pitch, mini golf, table tennis and even pétanque ! We were going to Disneyland for one day and it's a perfect location as it's only a 20 minutes drive and way cheaper than any of the hotels around Disneyland. We tried the breakfast one morning. Don't bother, overpriced (18.5€ per adult) and just basic. For that price, I would expect something more interesting.

Horrible hotel with rude customer service. The rude bar manager refused to honor the drinks the reception gave us on arrival. I had to call reception and get them involved. They fixed the problem kindly. I would try not to stay at this hotel again if I can.
