We have chosen the hotel because of the membership of Accor and the location. Location was great, just a little complicated was parking. The bed is very comfortable! Unfortunately no benefits of Accor provided!

Friendly staff, very good location in the middle of everything you want, close to the beach and restaurants. Good parking place under the hotel but is another firm you must make reservation ! We will come back !

Great views, close to the shops, many restaurants within 5 minutes walk and of course the Casino just next door if you're so inclined ! Staff did a great job of providing the best service possible, in spite of the Covid limitations, especially Axelle and Karin at the front desk.

I stayed here for the first time in 2015 and had a nice experience. I returned in 2020, taking a break from Paris, for a weekend and it was so hard to leave this hotel. I loved everything - the room, the view (sea and garden view - BEAUTIFUL) and mostly the staff. The staff was so nice especially at reception. They were friendly and humorous. The breakfast staff was amazing, too. Everyone so friendly. The rooms are clean and fresh. The staff doing the cleaning are very hardworking and thorough. I will definitely book here again because I will be returning to visit Nice no matter what!

Great place to stay in Nice. Excellent location. Very efficient and friendly staff. Comfortable room and very good breakfast. Marked down slightly as rooms are a little 'tired' and air conditioning under-powered - could do with a refresh. Would definitely return to this hotel.

There is no parking in the hotel there is next paying extra money and no one to help us with our bags up to the room. The location is great The rooms need restoration and bigger towels The breakfast was fine

Güler yüzlü çalışanlar, konumu itibariyle merkezi, kahvaltı salonunu ve servis hizmetlerini, sunulan lezzetleri çok beğendik. Odamızı önemle rica etmemize rağmen yoğunluktan ötürü üst katlara aktaramadılar ve çok karanlık, hiç ışık almayan odada kalmak zorunda olduk.Banyo da duş jeli ve sanı dışında hiçbir kozmetik olamaması, duşa kabinin banyo alırken işlevsizliği yüzünden banyonun sürekli ıslanması, WC’nin rezervuarında ikaz etmemize rağmen takılma ve en kötüsü de odamız da sürekli yoğun bir nem ve gider kokusuna maruz kalmamız oldu.

Great room with a view

We stayed in a Superior Sea View room and this spacious, comfortable and clean. The view overlooked the promenade and was a welcome site every day. We had booked the breakfast and there was plenty to choose from, however the “hot” items were never hot and ranged from lukewarm to cold. Service at reception was great, however the let down was the stocking of supplies in the room. We had a Nespresso machine in our room and no creamer when we first entered. I managed to find a cleaner on the floor who brought us some. The other days we did not receive any at all and had to ask reception for some. Also on our last morning we ran out of toilet paper and I had to take one off the cleaner’s trolley. Overall a good stay but maid service needs to be improved.

We stayed in a superior room on the 2nd floor with full view of the ocean. The room was a good size and was clean. The amenities were very good. The only complaint I would have is that the room, although cleaned the morning following our arrival, was not done up as nicely as it should have been. The bed looked as if they had just pulled the duvet back onto the bed and the pillows put in place, but the bed throw and cushions had been left where we had placed them on the couch the evening before. At the price they charge, I would have expected better from Housekeeping. On the other hand, the Concierge staff were very friendly and helpful which was a nice change from the staff at the Accor hotel we stayed Avignon a few days earlier.

Second time at this hotel. Very good in particular room with sea view. Very satisfied except, so unfortunate, that all of the receptacles have no power. Therefore, I have to use the one in the toilet to charge my phone. For the laptop, I need to take it to the front desk because the receptacle in the bathroom, for whatever reasons, it could not charge the laptop.

I stayed at this hotel five times just this year My average stay at this wonderful hotel is five times a year since ten years ago Every personal at the reception know me very well and we respect each other’s This time I was not happy because of the very rude lady at the reception I talked to Mr. John Jack about her, and I cancelled My reservation for October and November Sorry about that but I go to your hotel to relax and have fun and not to stand for rudeness

This Hotel has a very bad service. The people (especially the older lady) at the reception were very unpolite. Keep on with their work at their pc while talking to you. Chatting with other guest, who did not have any questions, and just let you wait. The quality of the rooms are very poor and not clean. The TV channels they offering are very limited. Have to watch the champions Leaque football matches at the hotel next door. I have filed this complain already at Accor hotel group; but there was no response at all. In general the accor hotel group is cutting in the costs at the expense of the quality. Too bad. No more Mercure Nice Promenade des Anglais for us. Alex Yap

Manzaralı oda satın almamıza rağmen bize avluya bakan, camları açtığımızda içeri yağ kokusu gelen bu sebeple camları hiç açamadığımız ve temiz hava alamadığımız bir oda verildi. Aynı zamanda odanın kliması bozuktu. Bu sebeple 2 gecenin tek gecesinde başka odaya geçmek zorunda kaldık. Fiyat performans dengesi çok düşüktü. Çok pahalı bir oda almamıza rağmen hiç ama hiç memnun kalmadık.

Seaside in Nice

The hotel is very convenient but was let down by a few details. He sound proofing between the street and my room was awful. There are double windows but the noise was too much. Breakfast was spoiled by the bacon, sausage and potato cakes being overcooked on the 3 mornings i was there. The room was comfortable but sparsely furnished. It was easy to get to the Promenade des Anglais and the centre of town.

I am a great fan of the Accor brand , and have to say this was I think the worst experience I have had at an Accor hotel. On arriving early I was told that at present my room was not ready as I was early , and told to return at midday, which was not a problem as we left our luggage and had a late breakfast on the Promenade des Anglais. On my return just after mid-day I was asked to wait in the lobby, because my "upgraded" room was not yet ready. I was slightly miffed as other people were checking in to rooms , so I asked was there a problem as I thought as a plsatinum member I had some kind of priority. after approximately an hour our room was ready and we went upstairs to third floor. As I opened the door I was looking into to somebodys living room accross the narrow road (Upgrade?? ) Decided with my wife to move hotels probably to Novotel Monte Carlo and went downstairs to check out. The pleasant lady at reception asked if I would look at another room , to see if it was suitable which I did , the room was much brighter and after discussion with my wife we decided to stay. This with hindsight was a mistake. the first and only night that was ok was Sunday night , however the monday morning appro 0735 there was a banging then the wheeze of a drill and then banging again. No chance of shut eye so we got up. Whilst shaving the shave mirror came off in my hand.(fixed very quickly) .I went to reception and said that I was woken up by the reparations. The explanation was that it was in fact the hotel next door Le Meridien which was doing the repairs and Mercure had no control over the noise. Every morning to the end of our stay and sometimes to 1845 the banging and drilling continued. As I mentioned to the GM the room for a four star was really below par, paint coming of the ceilings and badly repaired table were just some of the things I didnt. The GM was very understanding and gave ne points for my troubles but whilst checking out was amused to be told that the two glasses of wine for we a voucher would be deducted from our bill ?????? I explained that complimentary for a platinum member meant that they should not be on the bill in the first place.Now the positives about the hotel....it has a fantastic position right on the promenade des annglais, and the GM was understanding.

Worst service experience in France

Great location but lack of hotel management. No WiFi signal in room. Service is the worst among all hotels I have lived in France. Room is not clean at all, especially the bathroom, weird layout design as well.
