シーサイドビューの立地なのに、海の見えない閉鎖的なお部屋。 素材に新鮮さが感じられない朝食。 インターネットで予約しましたが、チェックインの時、宿泊申込時の確定料金以外にデポジット料金とか言って、別料金も請求されました。詐欺じゃない事を祈ります。デポジット料金はいつ返金してもらえるのか心配しています。早めの返金宜しくお願い致します。

I completely understand your disappointment regarding the size of the room and the lack of A. sea view. We are currently undergoing A. full renovation program aimed at significantly improving the comfort and modernity of our rooms. I sincerely hope you will have the opportunity to discover our newly renovated spaces once the work is completed in April. I am also sorry to hear that the breakfast did not seem fresh enough. I will be giving clear instructions to my team to strengthen our quality checks and improve the overall experience for our guests. Regarding the additional charge at check-in, it was A. bank pre-authorization. After verifying on my side, I can confirm that it has now been fully released. The time it takes to appear back on your account depends solely on your bank, and it may take A. few days. I apologize if this was not clearly explained to you upon arrival, and I will remind my team of the importance of providing accurate and reassuring information on this matter. This is hardly a 4 star hotel . Frankly 3 stars is pushing it. The only thing this hotel has going for it is its location and the staff was nice. The room was run down, the towels were so thin you could see thru them and there was lots of scum on the air vents .

Had hoped for a more luxurious experience.

As this facility was rated as a 4 star hotel, I am afraid I must disagree. It is 3 star at best. Why? Go around the corner to Le Meridien and compare the 2. It is more spacious, elegant and modern, before you even leave the reception area. The Mercure is dated, the doors in our room were plywood, everything more diminutive. I do not blame the staff for anything, they were courteous and helpful. The facility was clean. We were lucky and did not experience any sleep-disturbing noise.And as so many have mentioned, the location is literally across the street from the shore, and very close to numerous restaurants, ice cream shops, snackeries and shopping. Adjust your expectations accordingly, or book far enough in advance so perhaps rates work in your favor, and find a true 4 star if that is what you seek. P.S. Our room looked nothing like the one in the photo on this website. It looks like it is from a totally different hotel.

Not worth it. Very bland and bring ear plugs for the music from the bar opposite.

What a disappointment for 400 euros a night. Bare, bland room with very 1970s pebble-dashed walls and white formica furniture. Nothing welcoming about the room at all. Loud disco music playing from the bar opposite. The best I can say is that's its clean and central in Nice. But for this price I would take your money and spend it elsewhere.

Great hotel location on the seafront, clean and tidy. However, it's now very dated and in need of refurbishment. It also lacks facilities, no bar, or even cafe, but breakfast is good (and the breakfast staff). Staff in general are helpful when asked, but not proactive. I had to request an ironing board twice, and then found it had been removed later in the week! Just as I was looking to go out for dinner..... try buying a few more ironing boards! The balconies aren't big enough to sit on, just a thin strip. Overall extremely overpriced, but guess you pay for location!
