Dear Ms. Magalhães, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are truly disappointed to see that your entire stay experience was rated so negatively because of two €1 bank authorizations that you believed had been charged to your account. We would like to clarify once again that these amounts were not actual payments taken by the hotel. They were temporary bank pre-authorizations, a standard procedure used to verify the validity of a payment card. These authorizations are automatically released and do not represent a final charge. The time needed for them to disappear from your account depends entirely on your bank’s processing procedures, and this is not something the hotel can control. While we fully understand that any question regarding a payment method can be frustrating, we find it regrettable that this misunderstanding resulted in extremely low ratings across all areas of your stay, including the room, cleanliness, our team, and the overall experience. Our colleagues work every day to provide our guests with quality service, and it is unfortunate that their efforts were judged so negatively for an issue that was not caused by the hotel. For any remaining visibility of these pre-authorizations on your bank account, we kindly invite you to contact your bank directly, as they are the only party able to confirm the release status and explain their processing delays. We hope that in the future, should you encounter a similar situation, you will allow us the opportunity to clarify and resolve it before it impacts your overall perception of your stay.
