Arrived after a very long drive to be told the restaurant is closed (it was 7.30pm) No local restaurants open on a Wednesday. Ordered a McDonalds and ate it in the bar - didn’t particularly care if that was allowed or not. Breakfast was horrendous. Hardly any food out and wasn’t being replenished. Not worth anywhere near 20 euros. Very disappointing

Disappointing, after a 500 mile drive there wasnt anywhere to eat, the hotel restaurant and 2 local ones were closed. We had to spend the next hour driving into the centre looking for one without any recommendations. The bath wouldnt hold water so had to use the shower, the cleaner had left the head pointing out so when i turned it on it squirted all over me and flooded me and the floor. Paper cups for tea making??? Not acceptable. The reception girl was very helpful and made several phone calls. The walk to the restaurant down a steep hill took 20 mins and the taxi back cost 35euro that I hope Mercure will reimburse. Thankfully Trip Advisor advised on a great restaurant ..The Cadichon which was excellent!

Check in was efficient and the room was excellent with all the usual facilities including nespresso coffee maker. The bathroom was large and clean and the bed comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant and the staff were very nice and the food good. The location was a little far from anywhere in particular but perfect for us as business travellers. Breakfast was good with the usual choice. I would stay there again and was pleased with the choice.

Travelling from Calais to Italy, we usually stop in Dardilly but decided to try here. We were pleased we did. Easy to find, good parking and easy check in. Within 15 minutes I’d been served a cold beer and was happy. Used their multi room offer for family. Dinner was good. Food nice, service excellent. Breakfast was well set out and again with a very nice lady on duty. Can’t fault this hotel. Recommended to stop over

From the outside I was nervous about what I was getting into, but it was nicer than it looked from the outside. My first impression was that the service was excellent. Very friendly encounters with all the employees. The room was a decent size and comfortable. The thermostat actually worked, which isn't always a given. The breakfast was good with a decent selection. OK location if you're visiting Lyon and don't want to pay the premium to stay in town. My only big downside is that I guess it's a dog friendly hotel because there were two families with their dogs at breakfast, which proceeded to have a barking match. Not before my coffee!
