Where is the University of Nottingham?
There are several award-winning campuses in the area, including University Park, Jubilee, and King’s Meadow. University Park is the largest campus, covering 300 acres just two miles south-west of the city centre. It’s been part of the establishment since 1929 and boasts picturesque green spaces and a large lake.
The 65-acre Jubilee Campus is purpose-built and thoroughly modern. It’s home to to the Schools of Education and Computer Science, the Nottingham University Business School, a sports centre, and an innovation park. There’s plenty to see and always a lot going on at the Jubilee Campus. If you feel overwhelmed, head out to one of the campus lakes, each of which is home to a variety of wildlife.
Getting there
Nottingham is in the centre of the UK and is very well connected by rail and road. You can get there in less than two hours from London, two hours from Manchester, and in less than an hour from Sheffield. If you choose to travel by rail, jump on a tram directly from Nottingham train station to University Park. The journey is just two miles, which means it can be walked if you feel up to it.
