Dubai Opera has been the beating heart of Dubai’s performing arts scene since it opened with an inaugural concert by Spanish Tenor Plácido Domingo in the fall of 2016. The multi-faceted venue has been hosting many mesmerising operatic performances, musical productions and dance performances by the likes of Italian classical crossover tenor, Andrea Bocelli; Welsh opera star, Bryn Terfel; popular Catalan tenor, José Carreras; Spain’s popular Flamenco performer, Sara Baras; and musicals including CATS, Les Misèrables and The Nutcracker on Ice. The latest classical stage productions to be showcased at the venue include, Madame Butterfly and West Side Story. There is always something new to see or do at Dubai Opera.
