It was an experience that filled our souls with amazing accommodations, hospitality and beauty.We highly recommend it. Our villa was perched along the steep mountainside, facing the sea. Our view of Curieuse island (just a kilometer or so away) was spectacular. The plunge pool was a welcomed amenity, and was used regularly. The room was very well appointed with a king-sized bed, soaking tub, minibar, indoor and outdoor showers, as well as a spacious outdoor seating area. The staff was not only efficient but also friendly and generous with their time. General Manager Stephen and Resort Manager Gerrard separately made a point of engaging with us each and every time they saw us. It did not feel as though they were simply glad handling in a perfunctory manner. On the beach, Milton made us feel as though we were his primary focus, making sure we were hydrated and happy. In the restaurant, we were always greeted warmly and treated with top-notch service (we wish we could remember all their names, as they remembered ours. Executive Chef Frank was at our table regularly, making sure we were satisfied; even preparing a special meal for me. We rarely saw the housekeeping staff, but they kept us well stocked and did an amazing job. The buggy drivers were all extremely friendly and efficient. Near the beach is an enclosure for some giant land tortoises. These creatures were an unexpected treat for us. Several of the staff who cared for and cleaned the tortoises' paddock were eager to allow us to feed and pet these majestic creatures. Christopher was especially friendly and gladly shared information about the reptiles and the resort. He even showed us a separate habitat set up for baby (1 to 4 years old) tortoises. Overall , this resort checked all of our boxes and we couldn't recommend it more highly!
