A few months ago, we had an issue with valet service of the hotel and initially had difficulty resolving it. However, everything changed when General Manager Ken Hall personally got involved. His approach was professional, caring, and focused on ensuring guest satisfaction. We returned for Christmas, and our stay was nothing short of extraordinary. The Fairmont Gold Team went above and beyond to make every detail perfect — from the warm welcome to the exceptional service throughout our visit. We want to express our heartfelt thanks to Ken Hall and the entire Fairmont Gold Team for creating such a memorable experience. This is hospitality at its finest, and it’s why Fairmont Chateau Whistler remains one of our favorite destinations. Great work!

From September 2025, I was in touch with the gold concierge who helped with room configuration, dinner reservations, ski passes, ski lessons, hotel car service to restaurants and back. There were 11 of us ranging in age from 9 to 80. My husband had back surgery a year ago and this was our first trip. Very memorable experience and everyone wants to do it again next year

We had a great trip…:the gold level offering is excellent and the services and facilities at the hotel were very good, especially for children. It would have been great to have had a more comprehensive understanding of what was available at the time of checking in as we discovered the kids room and driving service late in the day. We weren’t aware of the ski concierge service immediately. Ai in concierge was superb in helping us prepare for our trip and both she and Ian were excellent helping us arrange activities when we were there. Annabelle and Stuart were also excellent mountain guides…patient and professional especially Annabelle…an asset to your team. The only disappointment was New Years Eve. We had to queue for nearly 45mins to get into the room and people were dressed in trainers and jeans…there should have been a dress code. We wouldn’t repeat this experience again. Overall we had a super time, staff and service were excellent and we will be back!

There was a mix up on our room reservation and the manager and staff went above and beyond to make the stay great for my family. The property is so well appointed and a top slope side destination in my opinion.
