I had a lovely stay at Novotel Taiping. The location is excellent, with beautiful views & easy access to the town & nearby attractions. As an Accor Plus Platinum member, I appreciated the warm recognition & thoughtful benefits, which made the stay even more comfortable. The staff were attentive, friendly & always willing to help. The buffet spread was enjoyable, with a good variety of tasty & well-prepared food. A relaxing & well-managed hotel that offers great service & value, I’d be happy to return.

Hi, Sir/Madam, My husband's bag containing portable games was lost in the room. There were 4 portable games in the Puma mini bag (black color). I checked with the receptionist but they did not find the bag. I hope the hotel housekeeping who cleaned room no. 1312 will pay attention. I checked out on 6 Jan 2026. To work in the hotel department, employees must be honest and trustworthy.

Dear Guest, We appreciate your comments concerning your recent stay with us. I have taken note of your comments, and I want to inform you that all the housekeeping staff we have hired will participate in the orientation program upon starting at the hotel. We will highlight the significance of hotel rules and regulations, which involve promptly reporting any guests' belongings or items discovered in the rooms to the Housekeeper. Any items left behind by guests must be reported to the Housekeeper, and the guests will be contacted right away for collection if the items are valuable, such as jewelry, money, laptops, mobile phones, bags, etc. However, normal items, such as socks, towels, normal shirts, etc., will also be reported to the Housekeeper but will be stored in the lost and found department, only to be returned if guests reach out to claim them. All housekeeping staff have been informed about the seriousness of actions that could involve notifying the police if we find any dishonest employees. Up to this point, we have discovered several valuable items, including mobile phones, jewelry, and designer clothing, which have been returned to the appropriate guests in an orderly manner. Should any items be reported as missing, the room-cleaning maid and the supervisor will be called in, and an investigation will commence, including checking CCTV footage for any suspicious persons who entered the room during the stay. Now that I am aware of your missing bag with portable games, I will look into it myself and will contact you if I locate it. Please provide your phone number or email, just in case. The hotel is well located with a great hill view. The only setback is that the parking is on the 6th floor, requiring many rounds up the car park. To make it worse, the carpark validation is at the ground floor. Perhaps a parking validation machine can be placed near the elevator of each floor instead.
