Hotel is nice and well maintained with good amenities. HOWEVER, the wifi barely works! This is unacceptable for a hotel of this size that hosts large gatherings and conferences. I joined a Zoom call and got kicked off 4 times in 15 minutes. This makes working impossible. There were several times when I could not even get my email to load. This needs to be fixed!

Whenever the AC in my room kicked on, it sounded like the door was being opened. Needless to say, I did not sleep well the entire stay. Also, one of the outlets did not appear to work and my phone did not charge overnight. Also, the WiFi was horrible everywhere in the hotel - room, common spaces, etc. We had separate WiFi for a conference and that was not very good. So while the hotel has an amazing appearance and the rooms are pretty updated, it was not a comfortable stay at all.

From the moment I walked through the beautiful doors after being in Austin for a staycation. I thought I was in another city like Paris, NY or Vegas. Although I traveled several times to Austin having lived in Houston for 20 years and being originally from Chicago, I had not experienced Austin in this way. Not this level of luxury and Class and sophistication checking in was amazing. Jack (I believe was his name was) took great care of me as he was working the New Year’s Eve shift. He was pleasant. He was efficient, but more than anything. He nailed it in terms of placing me into a high-floor room well before the clock struck 12. He also made sure that I knew all the features of the hotel and the happenings that were going on and I enjoyed the bar experience a little bit that evening, but even more so the next day just overall 10 out of 10.
