Vivid Sydney is back and brighter than ever!

Here's our guide to the best things to see, do and eat while visiting the festival this year.

Come 6pm from 26 May until 17 June, Sydney’s signature light festival, Vivid Sydney, will see locals and visitors alike step out from their winter hibernation and into the dazzling display.

A light show not to be missed

For 23 spectacular nights, Sydney will welcome over two million guests eager to experience the city’s award-winning festival of lights. This year the displays are spread out over seven precincts, with feature installations at the Opera House, Taronga Zoo, Martin Place, Darling Harbour, Chatswood, Kings Cross and for the first time the newly renovated Barangaroo. Keep a watchful eye out for our friends from the animal kingdom, who are rumoured to make a guest appearance at each location.
With more ground to cover than ever before, Accor concierges around Sydney have opened their little black books to share their must-do tips for enjoying the festival, from where to eat to the best vantage points in town!
