The upgraded me for a nominal fee to the penthouse, but expectations for the penthouse level of service and finish were disappointing

This place is beautiful in all ways. The art was amazing - not "pretty," but moving, a real exhibit about the nature of humanity and the perils people face. Our room was lush, with a great view. The restaurant's breakfast was spectacular. Moreover, the location was fantastic - easy walking distance to restaurants and bars. We very much enjoyed our time there.

we stayed at 21C over Christmas for 2 nights. The hotel looks tired. Rooms and window sills need a scraping and paint it looks old
